This is going back a week but the branch where the HQ is in Liverpool (nr Croxteth) had an electric go-cart for £49 (apparent retail price £160ish). Probably the most expensive thing I've seen in HB.

Where in Croxteth? Are they open on Sundays?:j

This could be my new 'retail therapy' hit when we go to visit my Mother in Liverpool:(.Must be cheaper than Cheshire Oaks!:T

Nothing good in our HB today - just sweets and crisps!

It's on Portal Way off the East Lancs Road (A580) near the M57 - just beyond and opposite the big Carcraft place. It's the big TJ Hughes depot but there is a HB store at the front.

Don't know for sure but I would imagine that they would be open Sundays.

We bought these for our 8 year old (also the cat one) and they do look great when you have made them but there is no way a eight year old could make them alone.

They are well worth the money though.

I bought these for my nephew who's 5. I thought I'd be able to help him - boy was I wrong. Three hours after his bedtime I was still sat making the dog and cat which I'd promised would be ready for the morning! I finally got to bed at 12.30am

For anyone in the Bishop Auckland area.
HB has competition. B&M has opened up in Aldi's old store.
Lots of stock is the same, some prices are better, some not.
Best bit is that they are licenced.
Merrydown cider £1.49/bottle, £2.19 in Morrisons.
Lindt choc 100g bars for 49p (milk and/or dark)
