Can i book this offer twice?
So have two days park tickets for £9.50 for the 4 of us and then have four lots of ferry bookings but only use two. Do you think this would work?
I thought about this but it is one per household, and they told me that if you don't use your outward crossing your inward would be cancelled. HTH0 -
Its good for drivers but not at all for people without a car, we can't get to Dover at those times without going early and staying over, neither can we get home once it's shelled us out at 10pm on the return trip. Bah. Wonder how much a return flight would be? no doubt cost prohibitive as usual. I'm going hunting to check.
EDIT - it's about £50 each round trip, that's still £100 for a day trip. We can get 4 nights at Butlins for that, have to pass, sadly."There is no substitute for time."
Competition wins:
2013. Three bottles of oxygen! And a family ticket to intech science centre. 2011. The Lake District Cheese Co Cow and bunny pop up play tent, cheese voucher, beach ball and cuddly toy cow and bunny and a £20 ToysRus voucher!0 -
travelodge and premier inn will be at Dover no doubt - and travelodge are having another sale on Thursday 24th November
. You could potentially book 2 £12 rooms for your night before, and night of, your Disney day.

5 x £9.50
10 x 30 newspaper
1 overnight stay (min) £99
£200 petrol (we live in scotland)
£150 (min spending money)
.........need i go on.
Im sure I could get a better deal going via disney itself d=for longer, when they have there kids under 7 go free & eat free deals.
you will need a lot more than £150 spending money. a hot dog is £7!!!:T0 -
Agreed.
Please, do not forget you need to get extra Car Insurance to drive in France (we paid an extra £35 for 6 days Green Card), Car Breakdown Cover and Travel Insurance (which we already had).
What you think seems like a cheap break might end up costing you dearly if you do not have the right insurances.
There are also Road tolls to pay as well, they are 20.40 Euros each way on the road from Calais to Paris, you can avoid paying these but be prepared for a 5 hour + drive (someone reported 8 hours on The Dibb). If you do not stay overnight in a DLP or partner hotel then you'll have to pay £15 a day to park the car as well.0 -
just for some feedback to help you. this place is a magical place there is no question about that and we did have a great time but were a little taken back with some of it. we went this weekend (its was a french bank holiday and packed to the hilt so check your dates). the breakfast is mainly continental. we stayed at the dream castle. the shuttle buses are fab but very busy. when you get to the parks you can only fast past one ride until that ride is completed. no good if you arrive at 10am fast past a ride that you cant go on until 6pm!. minimum of 90 mins (over 2hrs on the bigger rides) queing with lots of rude people . not good with small kids. And it was cold which makes queing worse. the park is very expensive. a mickey pencil £4.95. and a bag of chews £2.50 (this was the cheapest thing). small teddies £15 and duffy (disneys new bear) is £30 plus £15-£30 per outfit. we had 4 days and still didnt do it all due to queing and queing alone (and its not civilised at all). an evening meal cost us £160 in disney for 5 adults and 2 kids and £180 in rainforest cafe. main meal only. you can grab a sandwich and drink from the train station for a fraction of the price (just get your hand stamped to go back in the park). the main point is the characters. you have to que to have a photo and it takes around an hour. My mum went to florida and said they are everywhere but not at DLP. we had to comfort our 7 yr old as goofy totally ignored him even though he was practically hanging off his trousers ( to be blunt he wasnt french and yes they do favour them blatently over english i am sorry to say and its sad for the little ones). so if you are planning 1 night plan it very carefully. the park closes at 10am- 7pm on weekdays and 10am- 10pm at weekends. we are now saving for WDW as it would be better value and from what i have heard a much pleasurable experience. i hope this helps someone as its alot of money to spend x:T0
