If I added my petrol on to the £300 it would be quite significant, probably would make it just as expensive, plus this is for 2 nights in a hotel including breakfast and 2 under 12's are free, I have only seen under 7's everywhere else and that's no good for me.

if u cud hack the coach good on ya i couldnt :/ i took one to the airport once n someone blocked the loo bluuuurrrr  lol. thats what im saying though everyone different so need to look round etc.
p.s. if u live that far away just go florida LOL wishful think aye but then again i would rather take a budget flight to florida than sit on a coach to dlp worth a thought.
  • We did it last year & probably spent 200 pounds altogether including petrol (a 4x4 from yorkshire) & an overnight in ashford premier inn & spending money. We took sandwiches & drinks in with us to keep costs down. It was hard going doing the 24 hr return so we stayed in the premier inn on the return night. Last year the 9.50gbp covered 2adults & 2 childrens entrance to the park & the ferry crossing. If I remember right a nights stay in the disney accomodation could be purchased for an extra 100gbp. I'd recommend doing this if you can afford it but if not, do what we did & run on adrenaline!lol We opted for a 12am ferry but they let us get on an earlier one (10ish)so we had time to pull in to a services & sleep in the car for 5 hours when we got near Paris. hth

Whoa good on u dont think i could do that plus wud wana cry if i had to leave the same day i got there was bad enought going after one night! :(
but if ur on a budget and thats the only way to do it good on ya! and yes anyone else tight this yr (think it is for everyone) is worth doing it like that, how old r your kids? dont think my lil one would let me sleep in the car xx
  • I think I'm going to do it like this:

    £9.50 sun tickets
£80 overnight stay in hotel (breakfast included and free shuttle to and from disneyland)
eurotunnel back the next day £FREE as will use £10 clubcard vouchers.
£not sure how much spending money yet, may just take 100euros and a bank card!

We will take breakfast, snacks and lunch with us and probably stop and eat brekkie on the drive to Disney, then we just need enough money for dinner that day and lunch and dinner the next day plus a bit of novelty rubbish that we MUST have!

We were planning on getting the early ferry there, then driving to Disney, dumping bags etc and taking shuttle to the park for opening time. Then the next day we will go and have a nosey around Paris, show the little ones the touristy bits, then will drive to the eurotunnel and be homeward bound. Works out cheaper than upgrading with the sun for us!
  • Is there a disney thread somewhere? I have been thinking about taking my 2 to DLP for a while now but I don't think the Sun deal is going to work out for me as we live in NI and I would have to add on the price of a ferry over to the mainland (can be as much as £600!!!!).

Got me thinking though and I really want to take them just need to work out the best and cheapest way. I had a wee look at the co-op offer but not sure that would work either as it would be just me and my 2!!!

Thanks in advance for any help!
    Just little old me!

    !

Do you mind me asking how you are getting the eurotunnel so cheaply? I've just been to their website and I can't get a cheap price for a return trip.:o
