Someone at work has received a free replacement 6th generation iPod and is trying to sell it for £85. Nice profit.
Unfortunately I dont think my old iPod is first generation, although cant read the serial number properly.
If you connect it to Itunes the serial number is on the summary tab. I only found this out after I had OH with a magnifying glass reading mine out to me0 -
I have no idea where the returns envelope is either. this is not turning out to be good!3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Mine said put only the iPod into the "box" which everyone is saying is the brown parcel bag, then put that bag into the silver bag with the return address. Take it to the post office and ask them to send it and ask for proof of posting.
I do have a question for those who had more than one iPod though. Did you get separate return bags or just one to put all your iPods into? Because I had done two at the same time but only one return bag arrived today. Thanks for any help in advance.:EasterBunWhen life gives you lemons make grapejuice, and let the world  about how you did it!

found mine looks brand new! I even have the plastic onthe back. And I don't have access to the pc that had my music stored on it, as the hd went bust a year ago....hee, well I qualify, will miss the music though. Thanks OP, have passed this on to friends who may own one.0

DH and I got ours back this week. On seperate days or some reason even though they were sent and processed on the same day. I read the email from apple as soon as it was sent out but DH doesn't use the email he registered the Ipod with anymore so missed the email!
Anyway, I came here to say that I found the watch strap holders in poundland. :T 4 colours available: Blue, Pink, Black and Green. I've not tried it out yet though. Just need to find the adult sized touch gloves to go with it now!0 -

You get a separate box/envelope for each ipod - mine arrived over a week apart despite being requested on the same day.0 -
Thanks Hun
that's a load off my mind. Hopefully the other one will arrive soon.
