I agree an amazing saving for a school pta to make, children can get a decent selection box off Santa. The 3 for £1 would be even better for schools. I wish I hadn't already bought my class their presents as I would have gone for the Cad stockings, as it is I have spent a fortune on pencil cases etc. and I'm pretty sure they would rather choccie, lol.
The £1 ones are not part of the offer in my store. But its a great deal.0 -
Is it worth me driving 17 miles to 5kegne55 to see if they have got any in stock?0

Don't know if its been posted on here, but for anyone who cant find any stock nearby it may be worth going to Sainsburys and picking up some of their 'tubes' which are on offer for £1 BOGOF!

The full size selection boxes were all gone in W*st D*rring*on (replaced with boxes of Milk Tray and packets of onion rings!). I managed to get the £3 malteser selection boxes and the £3 mars ones but I have a feeling they aren't full size packets inside. Its still a bargain at £1 a packet thoughNov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails

tried to get 18 of the £1 Cadbury Snowman Selection Pack Medium 5 Bars which are listed online as B1G2F from the warwick store but came up as £18 not £6 at till. went to CS to complain staff went and looked at shelf but only looked at SEL for the £1 pack that did not have yellow B1G2F on and said they are not part off the offer. I told them that their yellow offer things that say B1G2F list cadbury selection box but do not say any sizes and that the item is listed online as B1G2F. even played the ad that I had recorded on to my smartphone. they said I did not have a selection box I had a selection pack. then they tried to make out that the small print of "offer applies to same priced products only" means only £3 products.
In the end I returned all 18 for a refund.
after my refund I asked a for price promise voucher as they had been out of the galaxy boxes when I went in on thursday and friday and their were none on the shelf now.
they said that they dont guarantee the price of items on offer that are out of stock.
so later on today tesco help line will be getting a call from me so i can find out what is what.
but first I will be going back to try for the Nestle Milkybar Christmas Fun Selection Pack £1 B1G2F that is clearly(you can see it is a pack not a box) pictured in the TV ad as well as some photos of the offer on my screen.0 -
The milkybar ones did not go through for me on thursday... had the sign instore and everything. She wasn't going to honour them but I continued to argue my case and she gave in. Wish I had picked more up as only got the 3 and didn't get cadbury ones as wouldn't honour those. These seem to be on offer online though? All so very confusing. Dissapointed store still had sign outside infront saying all selection boxes on B1G2F when there are not. They also have no larger ones left and not getting any deliveries till dec according to customer service so no point keeping sign out anyways. Customer service said offer was only large/medium ones but could not explain advertising, or differening of price online. Oh well if the small ones had gone through on offer in first place I probably would not have got any at all! Is a great deal for those who got some and manage to find some.0

Car had to be at Garage at 8.30 so popped in the Tesco over the road, another couple were waiting to ask a SA about the selection boxes and were told they were expecting a delivery this afternoon - beady eyed me then spotted two sealed boxes further down the aisle on the top shelf so got them down and split them with the other couple waiting.
After paying realised they'd charged me for 11 boxes not 12 meaning i didnt get the B1G2F deal on all 12 so went to CS later - the SA had obviously got her brain cell clogged up in all the mascara she was wearing as I had to work it out for her, her supervisor came over and after her getting it wrong numerous times the supervisor told her to just give me £6 back and let me go (had been there 20 mins!) - worked out I was £3 better off for the mix up. Also got 15 of the cadburys dairy milk - Mr T is not good for my diet!
Edit - also just noted they had lots of the £1 selection packs but not B1G2F offer on the SEL - i enquired and she told me they werent included - just checked online and they are - not sure if they'd go through the till as the offer or not.A home is not a home ..... without a dog0 -

( u can get this type 3 for £2 in poundland)

Why not wait until first thing in the morning and go and exchange them. I would explain I had seen the offer on line and thought it would be the same in store. It's not as if you would be asking for a refund, just an exchange. They would do this as long as you had your receipt. Worth a try.0
