Selection boxes @Tesco B1G2 Free - small glitch

Tesco have at the moment cadbury, nestle, Mars and Galaxy selection boxes inthe £3-£4 price range buy1 get 2 free.

The most expensive is the galaxy one at £4, my kids love this chocolate, so picked up 3, but at the till instead of taking off £8, it deducts £9.

So thats 3 Galaxy selections boxes for £3 - £1 each which is a fab price

edited to add, the deal pic in the paper only lists the £3 medium boxes in the deal, and not the £4 galaxy box. But if you mix and match the £4 and £3 boxes, or just pick up £4 boxes you still only pay £3 for 3

the offer states:
cadbury selection box medium 6 bars

mars and freinds 6 bar



Galaxy 225g - 7 bars is not mentioned in advertising , but was in some stores and not in others- this is the glitch as I dont think it Should not be in the offer

Cadbury stocking - 7 full bars - not mentioned in advertising but does go through in 3 for £3 offer

rumour they are reducing all the large selection boxes to £3, but may not be at the same time as this deal, but looking like they may have, so best to check in store if they go through at offer price.

states in T&C max of 18, 6 purchased with 12 free, and offer ends 22nd November - nit alot of the staff dont knwo much abotu the offer so you may be able to get more if they are needed

I had a text re this at 8 this am but having not seen it mentioned here thought it was a mistake, easily made.

yes i have tried it on other £4 selection boxes and all you pay for 3 boxes is £3 great deal.Just a heads up they were selling fast in my store this morning

Yep I picked up three nestle £3 ones and 3 £3 cadburys ones for £6

I was at tesco extra, but it supposed to be at all tescos, i think the glitch only works if you pick up a £4 selection box, you still only pay £3

Working at Wigan and Wilmslow stores. Not advertised at Wilmslow but definitely working.
Best buys are the Galaxy & Cadbury stocking boxes as they're all full sized bars

I got mine from Tesco Metro , they only had the medium/ small ones though not the large ones.

For £3 for three though the medium ones are brilliant, looks like 6 full sized items in the cadburys one.

Wish I had picked up 2 of the £4 galaxy ones too now

Apparently the £4 boxes for £3 is not a glitch as someone posted up a newspaper ad saying any 3 boxes for £3! so should work like this in all stores.
