I fell off the wagon last month, but I'm determined to end the year on a high note. So can I be put down for £130 again this month? So far I have spent £59.21 as I did some stocking up on shampoo, dishwasher tablets etc when I did my online shop this week. I've got a £6 off £40 spend at MrT for the middle of the month so going to do another stock up then to make use of it so that I'll go into 2012 to full cupboardsMortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30000

My goodness you lot can talk
. I will not officially be on this thread until the 1st December but just thought I would declare £450 for December. I am not reducing it from last month because 1. we have Christmas
and 2. hopefully we will have our first Costco shop, so I will want a bit extra for that for the moment.
ForgottenDreams, hello and welcome to madhouse. That is very sensible to start higher than you mean to be and working down to a comfort level.
Right slinking back to the November thread, will catch up with you lot on Thursday

Signing up for £310 for December, as I can in slightly under budget for last month. Spending Xmas day & Boxing day at familys so just been asked to bring wine/chocs. Am doing a family party but it's instead of pressies so comes out of different budget. Only problems I cna see are my birthday, dh's birthday & dh is off work the wwek before Xmas (must get stuff in freezer so not tempted to get too many snacks & take aways).0

I didnt shop this weekend as notfeeling too good and have now decided I can manage until next weekend. I am really pleased as it means I can do the challenge from 1st December instead of 25th November. So this puts mein hand andI dont have to flit between two threads.
Many many thanks to all who make this thread possible, I joined in August and halved my budget and am still well stocked for winter.
I have given myself and extra £50 December but may not need it.
I amcompletely redoing my bungalow and getting rid of a lot of clutter, I keep finding stuff I have stashed and forgotten about.I must make a proper inventary and try to keep everything inone place
and use it up, have found a lot is out of date.
Well done to everyone for keeping going.Slimming World at target0 -
Hello Everyone
My goodness page 5 already. I am raising my budget by £100 to cover butcher, free range turkey, local gammon etc. So instead of £350 I am aiming for £450. Some of us will be away for about 5 days after Christmas but older 'kids':) will be at home from college etc so they will be getting a home delivery. That should be fun to read when I get back!!!!! They will be set a budget and I can access it at all times via my trusty laptop
:):)
Good luck to all for December. We have to avoid the shops at all costs and only enter them when we really need to or our budgets will be blown!!!
Take care

Please can you put me down for £350 for December, a small increase on last month to cover naughty extras that should be classed as essentials at Christmas!
Best of luck everyone and big thanks to those who run the thread:)

Hi All
Silly I know but i feel nervous about my first ever post after lurking for soooo long!
Did some Christmas shopping yesterday and now really really really need to draw back the spending. I tried to keep note of what was spent in November for Groceries and it cam to around £190! there is only me and my boyfriend!
I a going to aim for £150 which i think should be ok. We are away at both our parents from the 24th.Im going to try and take beans and toast to work for lunches as much as i can. I normally buy salad veg to take with me. Beans will be much cheaper (plus i have 3 tins in the cupboard to begin with)
Need to stick to this buget, if not we will need to eat into our wedding savings, next October and coming fast! Really do not want to do that, we've been doing so well!June GC £130.93/£150Wedding Date Set 13th October 2012 :T0
