    Morning everyone

Cloudy, dark and damp and chilly here this morning. DH in the bath whilst I've showered, dressed, made brekkie for myself and the boys - he can sort his own brekkie when he's ready. Will be popping to the supermarket in a bit to buy some buy beer and wine for DH to take away - not particularly happy about it as after he has a few drinks he gets overly generous so we tend to be an easy hit for people want a free drink and then don't provide a bottle or invite in return! Don't get me wrong I'm certainly not tight but just get cross when people take the ****!

Once DH gone off this morning will then get stuck in to the housework, washing drying ironing etc so when we get back on Sunday I'm not left with loads to do. Will need to do a shop at some point today or tomorrow, but DS1 has a hospital appt tomorrow morning, so hoping that's not going to be too late when we come out as DS1 needs to be at school as much as possible. Need to crack on.

Have a great day everyone, hugs to those that need/want them, take care.

  • Morning!

I am feeling a little better today (but after yesterday I'm not sure that's hard)!

Today I have a midwife appointment and that's it. I don't like her much (she's lazy, rude and dismissive) but I do like having my bump measured and hearing the heartbeat, so that's a positive! And I predict that she'll say 'Oh I just got your text from 3 weeks ago...' because she does that everytime. I can't get hold of her, text her... she responds 1-2 weeks later... this time it's been 3 weeks! Lucky I have a good Dr really who does care.

So I am going to take it slow this morning and let my body do it's baby growing thing... and hope to not be as sick as yesterday.

I hope everyone has a great day x

    Jx

Bramble glad the pup is better today

We spent the evening finishing the ceiling in the kitchen, it looks much fresher and cleaner, so onto the woodwork today and then we can get the paint and paper on the walls. Really seem to be cracking on now, I will post a pic when it's done.

Need to pop to the bank again this morning and have a big bag of parcels to post. Might pop in the shops for a mooch and maybe pick up a couple of Christmas pressies.
Got a 70th Birthday coming up and picked up a lovely pair of black trousers from John Lewis in fab condition for £3.99 and a top that matches perfectly, already have some boots to wear with them so thats a new outfit for under a £10:money: just need to have the trousers turned up. Don't you just love charity shops:j

Tea tonight will be steak and jacket potatoes with salad and need to buy milk as usual, my boys drink so much I am thinking of getting a cow for the back garden:rotfl:

Off to get dressed but will not go out until about ten when the traffic has calmed down. Have a good day all J x

Hester I am worried you didn't mention the fish this morning hope they have been fed:D

Hope today will continue to be a better day Julia G...Your midwife sounds a right old so and so........

Well I hope my day is better than yesterday. I popped to the nearest town[45 mins drive] , got a tyre fixed at the garage, did a BIG :eek:supermarket shop...and at 11am was loading the car up knowing I would just nip over to small mall to treat myself to a new cardigan as I have hardly any warm clothes, treat myself to a coffee to drink on the way home and be indoors by 1pm............

Loaded the shopping. put the car keys down for a second turned around to take the trolly back and without thinking closed the boot with the keys inside:eek::mad:...........I knew I was in trouble as we dont have a spare key at home ......OH called up half of southern Israel I think.men came from two neighbouring towns, a lock smith was called , at one point someone called in a local bedouin as they have a reputation here for stealing cars:eek: ......[ sorry to all Bedouins who dont] passersby kept saying its easy let me do it......but it turns out my car is thief proof......which any other day would be a good thing!........ Its an old 5 series bmv which seems to seal itself shut..... Finally our garage guy broke both[ couldnt reach with the first] the rear back lights and a lovely young man who joined us for the last 45 mins put his skinny arm in and grabbed the keys........so all in all it took almost 5 and a 1/2 hours!!!!!!!! I just got in the car and got home as fast as i could praying that I wouldnt be stopped by the police with all the rear lights taped to the car with black tape......... took all evening and lots of hot drinks intil I felt warm and my feet thawed out....What a day

Anyway....to anyone who is still reading have a good day one and all.....Welcome to the newbies that joined us yesterday

hugs , spoons and positive vibes......

  • Morning everyone.

Late night last night, if me and H want to watch a film it has to be after DS has gone to bed so it was midnight when we finally went up.

Plans for today are to do some baking, put BM on, strip the beds and re make, cat needs flea treatment and general tidy round. Killer cat found a nest of babyish field mice and when we got back from school was treating it like McDonalds  kids were all saying they wanted to watch her :eek: I am all for kids learning about nature but there are something's they don't need to see yet.

Anyway had better get my butt in gear, DD is already asking about baking and I wanted to do the beds first.

SIstercas Happy Birthday, have a wonderful day

Lou Do you have any more counselling sessions coming up? Do not cancel it, you need to be attending. I can only imagine how bloody hard all this is for you but keep putting one foot in front of the other. Is there any music you find motivational? uplifting? If so make sure you've got that to listen to, don't give up lovey xxx

jackieG more hugs for you xxx

Shalva sorry I shouldn't laugh but I did have a wee smile at your post. Always remember to put keys on the pocket ;)

Hugs and spoons all round, have a good day OS or not.
