Good Evening All
I have just returned home from a meeting discussing how the new Freedom Bill will impact Parking Enforcement on private land.
As you know clamping will go and there will be new powers that means that registered keeper will become responsible.
So is there a thread on this, also would there be any interest on my full article of todays discussion, regarding quoted from DFT, The Home Office and DVLA, also Disabled UK?
If anyone wants some further info please let me know...:T

Well I don't think we can say "may", there will be a certain change. The BPA will get things started, you clearly already know what is going on!. :-)0

There are lots of threads on it but yes please, let's see your full article. This can be your thread on the subject. I am fascinated.
I've never heard of 'DisabledUK' though, sounds very un-pc. Is it a new charity or just your version of Disability UK?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I don't know much about the charity to be fair, but to be honest they don't want the ban because they want to see more enforcement.
Well as you know resgistered keepers will now be responsible for any charges. There is not a lot more to it than that really, there are no winners!0 -
Do you not attend these forums to hear what is going to happen? Also I realised I can't post as me!, so I when I do post I will be he new "me". :-)0

On this subject all you have to know is there is money sloshing around, lots of it, free money everywhere, millions and millions of pounds and the greedy MP's will be looking for ways to cash in on this remarkable get rich quick scheme.
Become a millionaire over night with a printer and some stamps.
Where money is involved and at quantities like this all decency and respect goes straight out of the window and gets replaced with fill your wheel barrows with cash mentality of the greedy.
Expect no favours from politicians on this and dont think for one second they have their greedy eyes on anything else but the cash flow.
They do not need you to tell them this is a type of scam, they know, they dont care, they see... MONEY !
This new bill will be rigged to help them get it and judges will nudged to help them.
This new bill will effectively allow someone to stand by the side of the road with a notebook writing down registrations and sending out charges.
DVLA should not be selling our details to theses scammers, however unfortunately the greedy in our society have those that make laws in their pockets and they know like the sheep we are we will stand for rocks breaking on our heads.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Well said, I guess the only positive being you have some more time to pay and can get home that day or evening.
I just hope that I will be on the new appeals board ;-)0 -

That will be good, so that when the so-called appeals board comes crashing down you'll crash with it.
Where's this article then - fascinated to learn what 'DisabledUK' had to say.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It won't crash though because so many people will want to appeal and they charge per ticket and an annual fee, I would still have my own job ragardless.
I haven't finished just yet and can't post as me as I may just get the sack!0 -

I quit the UK nearly 10 years ago for NZ and I see its got much worse.
I also heard the UK has developed an obsession with car insurance and British TV is now dominated by it.0
