you chose to use an uber cut rate organisation
you are maligning the level of customer servce
so where did you think the cuts would be made to create those prices?
I had hoped the cost saving would come from the minimum pick up fee of £20 rather than customer service.
They are slow at responding, but it looks like their server system has gone belly up, so no service at all at the moment. Fingers crossed they get it sorted
The main reason we wanted to use these people is that we sell stainless steel studding which is 1m in length. Now some of these are also very light, and we set postage fees via weight. The items may only cost £3, and the only other carriers to take this kind of length is of the nature of FedEx which is £8 a time. Now people don;t want to pay £3 for an item and £8 postage. Paypoundexpress looked a good compromise
Anyway, as I say fingers crossed for next week0 -
pity its 1m
RM tracked woulds have been good for you,but its 900mm max0 -

The problem with RM is that you have to take it to the post office, unless it is simply first / second class
We have been sending most of out items using RM second class untracked and have found it absolutely fine (postie even collects). But with our items being metal (Stainless steel nuts, bolts, u-bolts, exhaust clamps etc), they are small (most fit large letter jiffy) but are heavy and so the cost shoots up. This is why it can be difficult to buy small quantities. If you have to spend £9 of postage, then you may as well sell them 100 nuts and the overall price would be not much more than the postage.
We are trying desperately though to serve the common man / woman in the street who only wants 3 nuts to fix their hose pipe with if you see what I mean
If we can send a parcel up to 7 kg for a fixed low price then away we go
Ah well, we live and learn0 -
has anyone ever actually had anything collected and delivered by them??
Not sure whether to give them another chance or not
Not sure i like their customer service, well NON customer service.
and they say in a mass mailing that they will get refunds done in 7 days, well why 7 days!!
If someone tells me they will call me back and they dont, i tend to clear streer as thats terrible customer service.

We will try again, but currently the message is
"Apologies, we are currently not taking further bookings at this time. As you are a registered member we will notify you by e-mail when you may place further bookings"
I had hoped they would be back up form Monday (their original message said Monday)
I spent a long time configuring ebay with the new prices, so don;t want to change again if i can help it.
See what the weekend brings
As for support, I imagine they are overwhelmed at present with the number of of customers trying to get things sorted, so I guess we need to cut a bit of slack there - and they have sent out mass emails of apologies0 -
Anyone had succesful deliverys yet?
I know two of the 50 odd I sent on Monday have got there by now but tracking is down so just going by feedback left. The driver that picked up was one of the best I ever had, he was in a livered van which was virtually new and didnt seem to rushed either which is always good.
Anyone else had any collections/deliverys?0 -
i havent dared use them again as yet!!
I need to be able to rely on the post getting collected and delivered and at the moment i cant! so have just spent £58 on royal mail!
Any updates from anyone would be great, as they do not answer mails:mad:0 -

I can't use them yet. When I click to book it says they are not currently taking more bookings and will email me when they can
I am now currently spending a few hours revising all my shipping costs again0 -
yes its caused me huge amount of work changing everything back again!!
not to mention no refund yet for payments made last monday:mad:
I know they have probably had lots of emails, but they really should answer them all!! I had to email all my customers last week when they failed to show, took me ages, but it had to be done.
I have emailed paypound several times but they never respond, i call and they say they will call back but they never do
not one bit impressed so far0
