Hermes are pretty reliable, not as good as people like city sprint or APC but reasonable. I can't remember all the size and weight bands, my warehouse assistant does that, probably best to contact them, the only thing is, to get a business account, you have to send round about 100k parcels or more per year, and signatures are extra. The only thing is, because the couriers that work for them are all self employed, service isn't as good in some areas as others, for more info see https://www.hermes-europe.co.uk, they also do next day delivery although I hardly ever use it as there are more reliable next day companies out there0

Ha ha, "this time next year" then on volume (as Del was fond of saying to Rodney)They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
If you wanted a cheap 3 day service try https://www.tuffnells.co.uk or https://www.ukmail.biz, they might be able to help you, last year tuffnells got some tech which means a sig can be online within 5 mins of delivery, and the CS there is great, you should give them a ring0

It says this re the £500 up front pyment
If you are a sole trader or a self-employed individual you can select the Pay As You Go option.
You simply register as a Pay As You Go customer, and pay for collections at the time of booking.
You can book a collection once weekly, daily or as and when you require our collection services.
The Pay As You Go option is available to all company types simply if you prefer to 'Pay As You Go' when using our services.
The annual collection charge of £500 will not be applicable to Pay As You Go customers.
so as a sole trader there would be no upfront fee.
It does seem too good to be true, but i have registered and am waiting for my account to be approved. :T0 -
I pretty sure the £500 still applies, just that Pay as you Go basically means you pay daily as you have no form of credit to pay monthly. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

It does specifically state that the £500 is not applicable for sole traders
having said that the emails i have sent them are bouncing:(0 -
My mistake, it does say that here:
https://www.paypoundexpress.com/account-options/
but not in the T&Cs.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
yes it does, but bouncing emails and being unable to find anyone who has used them is all beginning to look rather suspect:(0
