Idris, I pay one off at a time... I realised it made me feel more satisfaction watching one of them bite the dust..... it was getting depressing seeing them hardly go down!

An eventful night for me... *GROSS POST ALERT*

got to bed at 12 after managing to wake MrS on the sofa, only to be woken at 2am with him telling me his throat was bleeding :( Cue lots of bright red blood all over the bathroom and a call to 999... got home at 6.30 this morning after they stopped the bleeding and got his stats more or less to normal. Will be going to see him in half an hour but he can't come home today... Bless him, he thought he was going to die as he was also vomiting blood from where he had swallowed it. His mum might be coming down but she wants to take him back on the train on Sunday as she is also main carer for his gran. While I understand that is the best option (except being on the train part for him) I can't bear that he will be so far away from me while so ill.

Anyway, sorry for the gross-ness! No pad for me today as I'm skinto until payday next wednesday!

Aaaaaaah, sorry to hear of the drama babble! Hope all is well now

    xx

  • Good afternoon :)

An unexpected payment from me today, a standing order to overpay Barclaycard £38 which I totally forgot about came out today. Thank goodness I had a little money in reserve. Ooh and my lovely neighbour just brought round a box of chocs and a bottle of wine for helping her clean the guttering last week :D so looks like its going to be a good weekend all round..

    In debt no more!
  • Oh poop.

I really want to join this so thought I would tot up the debts. I thought 9,000 or possible 10,500 at the worst. However, it totals

    £22,759.09

I had a nervous breakdown, changed calculators, mentally beat myself up and now I am here to reveal all and get a grip. My 15 mins of feeling sorry for myself has been and gone and now I need to make amends.

Here goes to a hard but rewarding 2012.
    VR repayment  £404  £156.02 PAID
    Airpods repayment £249 £185 £75.90 PAID

:) Welcome aboard moneymakestheworldgoround we're happy to have you.
Please note any feeling sorry for oneselves results in 10p in your debt pot :) This is a pot either imaginary or real that collects mystical penalities for naughty things like putting oneself down, or this week eating chocolate & sweets hehe. Then gets put towards your debts :)

You'll find a list of challenges on post #10 and mf0u allocates all the numbers. This weeks mini-challenge is to put any money you'd normally spend on sweets & choc into the "debt pot". I'm at £2.50 oops!

I've just been reading about food dehydrating, I really want a food dehydrator now, that will mean absolutely noooo wastage whatsoever. I wonder whether I can save up for one. Might get Mummy and Daddy one when I eventually get my ppi refund.
