The "Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2012" challenge

I think we need less "sorry"s on this thread. More upbeat people we're doing this
If you have a slip then admit the slip in a positive way... so I just ate a small chocolate bar, instead of apologising for it my penalty pot now has £1.50 in it, this will go towards paying off Wescott hehehe
Remember we're not here to judge, we're here to say "Ok you slipped, what changes can you make to stop you slipping again?" baby steps remember people, teeny tiny baby steps. I say this and yet payday (evil splurgeaholic appears day) is on Friday for me, will need all the support I can to stop me binge buying. Eep!
Edit:
In fact for every "sorry" you can put 10p in your debt pot, like a swear box but cooler. *nods with approval*Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

DFW thing I did today: told my OH to recycle his mobile phone, will get him the £60 he desperately needs. Now if only he'd go to the PO to send off his ppi claim. Thank you for your positive replies. I've decided to go for if, can i join please with a total of £22,868.63. If it is not all paid off at least I've started. lol. Since I started reading this thread I have made some changes. I have made an appointment with the stop smoking team at my doctors, wrote down all my debts on a spread sheet and I've paid off two small debts. Which brings my total down to £22,784.43
Oh and today I have been putting all my loose change into a tub.:)
Fantastic to have you in the team Jan2011! I've put your name and total on the 2nd post!

Evening All - another NSD and NCD for me.
Eagerly awaiting my Cap One CC statement to drop through the door so that I can update my totals...I only have 3 outstanding debts now and the statements all arrive at different times in the month....I can remember a time when my blood would run cold at the sight of these envelope...now I sit on postman watch...how times have changed
Congrats on the NSD and NCD!
Love the postman watch bit, made me chuckle at how people can change their whole view on debt busting. It's brilliant and totally liberating when it happens to you xxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T

Being enthusiastic is the only way to get through this! Its only been, em, not even 24 hours for me on this thread, but I'm checking it every chance I get. I think if we all stay positive we can get through this nasty debt together! And if anyone has a bad day they can tell us on here, and we won't judge them, we'll help get them back to a positive state of mind. I know I'll be on here at least once (prob 10 times!) in the next few months saying I've slipped up, but that's life. If it knocks you down, pick yourself up and start swinging!
Woo woo woo, you know it!0 -
