I cant wait to get rid of the rest of this debt!!!0 -
I feel like I've got stuck into this challenge
started making sure I take in my own lunch for work as it was costing £3 a day usually buying something. Also staying in for lunch means I'm not tempted to window shop
Had a fab email today saying I had won £100 in a competition I entered - it's a hobby I have that has really paid offwill get that off my debt once the money is in my account. Also I have done a balance transfer on my credit card as even after the fee it will save me about £150 in interest.
I've also sorted out my Phoenix Trading stock and got my bum in gear to really make it start being more profitable for me.0 -

Hello everyone,
Hope you've all been enjoying Christmas and *big hugs* to those who've had a rubbish time.
No more debt repayments to report BUT two good things - 1) just found out we'll get a late Christmas bonus at work, so that will be more money to chuck at my debts, and 2) the only thing I've bought with my Christmas money is a diary - the rest is going into debt repayment!
I'm not getting any new clothes until I've lost the 1.5 stone I need to shift, I've stocked up on toiletries for the next six months thanks to my Boots points, and anything else can wait! Just need to keep my fingers crossed that my *very* tight budget isn't ruined by any dental emergencies/needing to get train to family at short notice/etc like last year!
Love Your Libraries - they're moneysaving! :T

Well done everyone keep up the great work.
Iris - as a reward I would say you can saw you bought that with cash and you have worked very hard in paying things off. Due to reworking life and the fact my hair look like a lions mane off for my mane chopping and the greys going (Grey at 30!)
Sat now waiting for next funds to come into my account then more debt busting!
Jakes mum - ps do you think its a man thing i.e. ribbed at work or he wants to assert some control, so he feels like he is working himself toward something?0 -
Hi All, am I too late to join? I have just worked out that I owe £16, 950! This was a bit of a shock cos I thought it was more like 12k but apparently I owe an extra 5k...lovely! Maybe 17k is a bit much to pay off in a year but I shall do my damnedest!
Trying hard...failing miserably

At work this cold frosty morning and ready to earn some extra pennies for debt busting. All ready to get rid of it all by the end of July if possible....even by end of august would be a great achievement. On 2 weeks holiday from my work, this is the end of the 1st one and I'm pilling in the hours in my own little business venture as it is. Just so motivated, keep coming on this thread as it makes me even more so! How do so many of us fall into 5 figure debts!Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
