Jake's mum Personally I think its a good plan that way he can't over do the family budget, and he has a bit of his own cash but understands the greater good you are doing for the family budget
This is what I was thinking, it also gives me somewhere to put birthday and christmas money so i dont 'accidently' spend it on house stuff and might even encourage himself to SAVE for things he wants :rotfl:idristhedragon wrote: »Just paid £57.18 off Simply Be so that is CLEARED!! Well done Idris for paying off Simply Be.
I am on a mission - de-cluttered the house yesterday and so now its time for ebay listing. I have sorted out all of DS's Thomas stuff to list, plus some Happyland things too - but there is so much of it so I am going to have to pace myself.Pay off all my debts before Christmas 2015 #165.0 -
THank you eveyone!! I am so glad Simply Be has gone- I kept forgetting to pay it and getting blinking late fees. Now I am steeling self to cancel credit report that goes on vanquis every month (oh the irony) cancel stupid lovefilm, ring cap one and vanquis for balances and be all set up for Jan.
*I bought the bag. ;pHave nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.

Ok after agonising over Lilys birthday we went to tesco to get some prizes for her party and I picked up a matching pairs puzzle for £1.97 and a cars 2 mug with marshmallows inside for 87p (shes got very into her hot chocolate up her Auntie this week) so she has 3 presents to open on her birthday
I think thats enough as she already had her build a bear outfit
Am panicking now about her party which is in 3 1/2 weeks . . . we're having a carnival! completely organised by meI have hired a hall and have roped in every family member I can to help :rotfl: have spent so far £30 on the hall hire and £21 on prizes which I thought was pretty good considering we have envited all 26 people in her nursery class plus 2 cousins. I now need to make a load of boxes with hooks for hook a box (rather than hook a duck :rotfl:) a display with cups for lob a choc (ok we are throwing value eclairs but they were the cheapest option at 20p a bag) make a load of raffle tickets for the tombola and figure out how to stand the sweets up on the shelf DH made me for the beanbag toss   . . . . oh and make beanbags for the beanbag toss and the bag in the hamper game  and MIL is on a mission to find me a load of punch ball balloons :rotfl:

Idris - I treated myself to a Cath Kidston bag yesterday too
Couldn't resist as it was in the sale - there is another one I LOVE but as that was full price I'm saving that as a present for when I finally clear my debts and I have "real" spending money to throw around!
The Lush online sale has already finished anyway - it was only on for xmas day and maybe a bit of boxing day then the website crashed and it's been taken off now!! :rotfl:
Was really pleased when I nipped into town on my break at work yesterday and got some wrapping goodies for next year from Paperchase and a new bag (that I honestly did need!) - am going out for my OH's birthday tonight though and need to be sensible with my money then too - I don't want to spend too much money and spend tomorrow feeling like I'm dying :eek:0 -

I'm Ebaying too. I've got oodles of clothes and toys and stuff to sell, but it's all such a faff isn't it? I've got three great big crates of Happyland to go as well, not sure whether to do it in individual bits or as a job lot.Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0
