The "Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2012" challenge

Merry Christmas 1year until we're all debt free
Just spent 4hrs in Poole maternity hospital with my nephew threatening to make an appearance. My sisters contractions were 2mins apart for over 2hrs but luckily she's not dialated. Only trouble is that means he's being moved lower and lower down, so when he does come he's definitely coming quickly. Did have to laugh when the midwife said "are you a midwife or a doctor?" pfft doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise you squeeze one end of the toothpaste tube to get the toothpaste out...
Anyway, off to beddybyes now, have a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to busting some debt bottom with you after the festivities. Please remember the mini-challenge, save yourself some sanity by taking 15mins to yourself to enjoy the chaos that's going on
Merry Christmas one and all.

Hi all
happy happy Christmas to one and all :-)
Gonna join you all, as I need to get rid of loads of debts - that havent got any smaller over the last 3 years - even though I have started working too! Having a min lightbulb moment as I thought i had spend £60 on shopping today, but just added receipts and it was actually £99 - so my numbers deffo need working on!!
I am a great talker - but need to use 2012 to get active and deliver on some of my words - so all kicks up the boo**ty very much appreciated:D
Gonna go for a round figure of £6000....
Plan is:
TO SAVE £
- start spending diary from 1.1.12 and write down every penny
- THINK before buying 'bargains' and only buy what I need
- Set a £10 limit on bday pressies (we only do kids and will tell everyone I buy for that I will only be spending £10 and ask they do the same for my 3 kids)
- MEALPLAN, 'batch & home cook Sundays' and no more takeaways:money:
TO EARN MONEY
- eat my frog with Ebay and sell, sell, sell!
- revive and actively push printing business
- support DH in starting new career (will save £££s in current self employed role)
- look into family members offer of working with him in a new business venture
- send out CV to people who may be able to help me get more paid self employed work
See you on the other side of 2012...0 -

Merry Christmas debt-busters!! Just think how much more relaxed things will be this time next year when you're so much closer (if not already at!) debt freedom!! Have a good one everybody and don't eat too much turkey:snow_laug:santa2::xmassmile:xmassign::rudolf::snow_grin0

Now things get real...365 days to go!
Hope you all got what you wanted from Santa...personally I'm prancing around air-guitaring with the Kerrang radio on. Entirely free fun at Xmas!
All I can say is that it's grim in Wales weather wise. This doesn't just apply to today, but even taking the dog out for a wee is time to get the waterproofs on!
Hope you all have a good day, and imagine how good it'll be this time next year!DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!
