    In debt no more!
  • Thanks Jake's mum for the SB information, I'm on a mission now to get my first £5.
I will stop spending on things I don't need

    Lloyds TSB CC - £3577/£3650, HSBC CC - £2425/£2621, VIRGIN CC - £5349/£5405, BARCLAY'S CC - £3700, HALIFAX - £109/£199

Pay off all your debt by Christmas 2012 - number #145 £608.00/£15,313
  • I've promised myself two months of spending what I would have otherwise been paying off debt with, before starting the long hard slog to a house deposit.

Ohhh, good idea - there's a few things I've been putting off and a couple of months off before starting saving for a house would be great for me too!

Think I'll steal that idea - just like I'll steal victory! ;)
    I was a DFW, now I'm a MFW :T
  • Hi all,

I hope you've had good MSE days! My day has been a bit pants, but enjoying a glass of vino now so it's getting better!

Does anyone else feel bad that they can't make any more payments of debt this month? I'm so amazed with the amount of payments everyone on here is making, but I don't get paid until the 30th and all my pennies are accounted for until then!

Ooh, and please can someone PM me a swagbucks link/code/whatever? I have no idea how to do it but it sounds great!

    Thanks!

I've been very MSE this evening, I've cancelled my dvd rental for two weeks over christmas, saving the grand total of £7.50:beer:, and gone through the paperwork for the gym so when I go in to cancel tomorrow I know exactly how much I have to pay and the very last day I will be able to use the gym (tho I'm cancelling as I don't use it). The gym will save £33 per month, which will henceforth go towards debt busting:T!

Also, thanks Jemma for updating my total!

I'm 300SB away from my 2nd voucher since Thursday *claps* yay. Thank you jakes-mum for showing us this. Also, can everyone please note that the £25 and £50 cost more than the £5 x 5 or £5 x 10. So don't save the points up unless they reduce the prices of those two.

Had my first warm shower in my new place this evening, the heating hasn't been coming on when it's meant to eep! Still using my old handwash pump bottle for my shower gel, very MSE as I use much, much less and even better as means the OH doesn't use gallons when he visits =)

Lunch is ready in the fridge for tomorrow and I'm in bed early for once. Still feeling a bit sad about taking the money out of Lloyds though. Did you all take your lunches to work today? For those that already do, did you manage to make any healthy cutbacks i.e. fruit instead of cake?
