Morning all, very sleepy today but determined to have a NSD before I have to go for my works xmas party tomorrow night.

sharronej, How about a homemade strawberry cake cut into the shape of a champagne bottle?

The payment wall 55SB isn't working again :( I'm up to 610SB though, so not many until my 2nd voucher. jakes-mum how long does it take for them to give you the voucher?

  • Morning all :) Feeling better about things now, thanks for all the kind words. I have the whole day set aside for finding odd ways to make some extra pennies.

jakes-mum, I'd be really interested to hear about Swagbucks to get me started, could you send me the list please :)

Another small payment made today but as they say it all helps, I'm already seeing the total going down every few days, which has got to be better than going up!

Progress so far... #64 - £110.83/£13,210.36 - woo hoo i'm finally off the £100 mark :rotfl:

Sold a few things that I really didn't need/want and that's another £20 :) yippeee! Added up all those little payments I keep making too (I'm one of these people that like 'round' numbers' ) and I'm up to £70 paid off! Amazing how it all adds up isn't it?!

    So.... #98 £70 / £2100  Thank you xx

    Have a great day everyone!

I've been invited to a Champagne Sunday (obviously on Sunday) now I don't drink (triggers Asthma) so wouldn't normally go but this is one of my closest friends who's hosting the day....the thing is I can't afford to take a bottle of Champagne (they certainly wouldn't like cheap bottles) so what can I take with me? I was thinking about a tin of chocolates or maybe some Stollen or something - what would you do?

You can get really nice prosecco for much cheaper than the cheapest champagne, and it generally tastes much nicer. I love champagne and wouldn't really buy the cheap stuff cos its not that nice, but an extra dry prosecco for £10 - £15 is still a (quite) expensive treat and much tastier.

  • Morning everyone! Quick post as I'm on my break at work! Today I'm having a NSD-only partly because I left my bank card at home! Brought soup for lunch and just had bread and butter for a snack so I'm stuffed already :D work is AWFUL today because there are no staff in as usual but seen as I'm a reformed character I can't go out shopping to make myself feel better so am looking forward to a bath and a glass of wine tonight instead-at least I'll be warm then I was blooming frozen last night!

yes i checked too :( it was taking roughly 2 weeks for them to send me my email saying the voucher was ready.

Just a quick note swaggernauts, the voucher isnt emailed to you, just a notification! The voucher will appear in your swagbucks account, for those that dont know where that is:

Go to your homepage, above where you put the free swagbucks codes it says view account. Click that and the new page has a list down the left hand side. Your earnt Amazon codes will be in 'My Gift Cards' (it will ask you to re-enter your password to view them). If you want to see what vouchers are waiting to clear, click 'Order Status' and it will list vouchers that need verifying, vouchers that are verified and vouchers that are already cleared :)

Please please remeber to verify your amazon orders!

When you order your amazon vouchers you have to verify your order, either at the time of ordering where you answer a security question, or through the email they send you. Go to your order status and it will say verified next to the pending order if you have already verified them
