Lol well congratulations for winning it - I think it's pretty cool (but would NOT pay £80 for it!!) but I dunno whether your nan would like it - it's the sort of thing where when it was worn it might not look as much like bugs I guess? Especially if your eyesight was bad :rotfl:0 -

You are all making me feel so bad making payments on your debt this close to Christmas. I have to confess that the credit card has been used for buying presents and also some gig tickets (couldn't resist!!!). Some of the money however is my brothers and friends so should get that back on their next payday and I am determined to pay off what I've spent on pressies on payday.
The other thing was that the car failed it's MOT and we had no choice but to pay for the repair on the credit card!
So in summary - all is not going well!! I will have to work out what my new total will be when it's all gone through and will update my sigStill want it gone by end of next year though! fingers crossed for a good bonus and payrise!!!
Don't worry you'll soon be on the other side and then you'll start making real headway! Come January all the extra spending pressure will be off and just think when others are depressed at being skint we'll be so smug at how frugal we're being:ploubie_lou wrote: »Lovely rainy day down south atm
I have two debts; an old payday loan with a DCA (£365) and an old CC with another DCA (£600). I maybe in a position at the end of the month to pay these off out right. I have made a special arrangement with the first debt as they took off all the charges and interest (was orginally £2k). The debt started at £680. If I pay this off early do you think I might get a penalty or anything like that as I made this 'arrangement'? Sorry if that doesn't make sense!
Best post the question on the pure money forum, I couldn't tell you but these companies like to charge for anything they can.ok DFW'ers I need your thoughts

Its this one ---> http://craigfellows.bigcartel.com/product/beetle-bum-fashion-scarf what do we think? would an 80+ year old woman think this was nice or think 'omg my grand daughter has given me bugs to wear round my neck!' as a side note she does love her silk scarves, its just the design of this im a bit worried about as I dont wear things like this, does anyone here like it?
Personally I wouldn't but perhaps you could fleabay it with the link to the website? Then you could buy your Nan something you know she would love....unless she's into Eygptian history? Then she'd love the Beetles0 -
@jakes-mum please can you send me the swagbag list please!
Update on debt crunch!
EBAY sold parts of an old computer for £86.96!!
New update
£339.96/£13,946 = 2.4% even before 2012 starts!
Happy days!
Well done everyone else who has made inroads before the new year0 -
I'm at my parents and the cat has decided she's going to sleep under the covers whilst the other cat jumps at her, I don't see this lasting too long hopefully. Oh wait, no now they've decided they want to get in the wardrobe, the joys of bengal cats.
Awwwww bengal cats are lovely!! Our neighbours have one, and i only know that because we are now friends as I rescued their over-friendly bengal from the metro station that was about to close and he wouldn't leave. lol. he then spent the night in our house before i took him to the vets to get his chip scanned in the morning. He insisted on sleeping on the bed with us all snuggled. VERY cute!!
AND the neighbours gave us a bottle of champers to say thanks for rescuing him :T

I always have the videos running in a seperate tab, and the surveys pay out well if you qualify. The 55 buck survey in the payment wall is literally clicking complete and your done :T. The 3 buck survey that gets sent to your inbox everyday, I just click to open it then imidiately shut it and click 'didnt see an ad' on the survey bit. Search twice a day for various amounts of bucks . . . most ive had is 39 for one searchSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000
