    Well I was all set to change my gas and electric over, my original rate with scottish power was £100 a month :eek: so swap to NPower for £92 a month with a £100 love to shop voucher, then scottish power ring me up and offer me £84.49 a month to stay with them fixed for 15 months :eek: so should have an extra £15 a month from january :j :j also have cancelled DH's second phone (dont ask :mad:) so that frees up another £15 a month so feel pretty good about the new year :j :j

    Oh and as a side note ive decided to put my £30 christmas money toward a hair cut, ok I already had my bi yearly cut booked but . . . well . . . its kind of spending it on myself isnt it? :rotfl:

    WELL DONE EVERYBODY SO FAR!!

    You are all doing fantastic! Good mornings work for me. I shall be paying my payday loan DCA early at the end of the month. Managed to get an £85 reduction too! Couple with the tax rebate I am paying in later. Should be a bumper new year payment!

    :T:T:money::T
    In debt no more!

    How is everyone's mini-challenge going this week? Are you all enjoying the mini-challenges?
    Personally I'm finding them quite good at helping me have you lot as my "good angels" on my shoulder outweighing the bad angel on the other telling me to spend, spend, spend :)

    Thinking up a new mini-challenge for you to start tomorrow as we speak :)

  • Morning all... please talk quietly as I'm very hungover :( Only spent £20 though as MrS paid for my dinner and drinks while he was there :) However it was a bit of a waste as it all came up again when we got home!

    No debt busting at the moment, trying to finances in order and work out what is what. Hope you all had a good weekend! x

    Feel like I am limping along while so many of you are charging ahead. I know once Christmas is gone I can pay a lot more, and I feel like I am wishing my time away :o.

    We're here for support, not competition (unless you're me and mf0u... ;)). Everyone is going to pay off at a different rate, some have just had Christmas bonuses too which skews things a bit. Don't compare yourself, just make personal targets and let us help you achieve them.

    Keep plugging away, you're doing just fine! It's not even Christmas 2011 yet :rotfl:
  • Morning all :-) I've finally cleared the infected wisdom tooth, croup. bronchitis and sick bug that Ive had in the last two weeks, and my little girl is fine too. My little boy however now has croup DOH!!!! We are a germ factory!!!
