I have a confession.... I am on call at work which involves sitting in the airport for 7 hours... I've purchased a drink and noodles for lunch at a cost of £4.94 (cash) but then also purchased a toffee nut latte for £2something on my card :( In my limited defence I didn't have anything at home to take in to eat except lemon curd sandwiches!

    mmmmmmm lemon curd sandwiches...:D

:rotfl: That's what I've had for lunch most of this week :rotfl: (HM lemon curd, of course ;))

 Rant time: been asking oh what his bank balance looks like since payday and he keeps telling me it's ok and he'll check it for me soon. Anyway, got home early this evening and saw a familiar looking envelope on the doormat....notice of exceeding o/d limit. And of course it was. I've just had to transfer £260 including fees (so not a little overdrawn!) from our wedding savings. Doesn't directly affect debts but it means it takes longer to get that pot of money together, which delays when I can start making loan overpayments..... I paid it because we are very much joint in our finances - best to avoid the charges. I just wish he would keep a closer eye on his personal account.

And....(mad at myself here) forgot to account for the cheque to pay for my mortgage renewal fee (counted it in here but forgot to actually transfer money for it!) So that used up the rest of the month's grocery budget, plus another £85 from the wedding account.:eek: Off to see if any more eBay items are selling....
