    Forgot to add, My mother gave me £40 in clubcard vouchers cos i think she felt bad about me getting into more debt cos of my relative, so will be money saving there too, so the difference in cash will also be going off my card!

  • Hi all!!

    So, I received one of my credit card statements today! It turns out I overestimated the interest I had to pay, yay! That, along with a small payment today brings my total debt down to €11,856.81!!

    New total: €196.26/€12,051.15

    Keep debt busting peeps!!!

    Ahh, so YOU'RE the mystery "bleach in the freezer" shopper... :rotfl:

    Yes its me :o I walk round going Ooooo bogof on handwash, Ooooo 1/3 off that nice smelling ironing water! and pop it in my trolley and then as im walking round a little voice starts saying 'but jakes-mum you already have 5 tesco own handwashes at home! and your mother does all your ironing, your iron hasnt been plugged in the wall in the last 2 years!' so I just pop them back on the shelf of where ever I am in the shop :o

    And I am the person who gets all the way to the checkout before wondering how all those things leapt in there and leaves a stack of random stuff by the self-checkout machine... :o

  • Paid off all the min amounts on my CC's. Hopefully will have a few pennies spare to throw at one of them. Need to look at which one will be best to snowball. Will update totals on next statement date though. Thanks for letting me join and good luck everyone GTS xxx

    Have now paid off £541.76 leaving a total of £14920
    This has brought my Asda credit card to £0 so will be closing that one!

    Don't know what else will be happening this month. Got one eye on Christmas but not really done anything about it yet!!

    First payment £255 of £9800 now £9545 :jonce I go back to work I need to pay nearly £600 a month off my debt :eek::eek::eek:
