Thought it was worth a try so phoned customer support about the 3 low DSR I had been left.
Had the positive feedback and associated low DSR removed :rotfl:

well done. There is a new bit in the T and cs that someone posted on here a few weeks back suggesting that ebay will monitor DSRs left for sellers and remove any that do not reflect that sellers 'usual' pattern.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Result! Well done
I had similar one removed a few weeks ago.0 -
How do you know which transaction the low stars were left for if you don't check the DSR rating everytime feedback is left? If you have received more than one feedback from buyers in one day, there is not much way to narrow it down to a few transactions therefore it could be a false low DSR and you would be unable to get it removed?
I have 3 low ratings for P&P but no idea which transactions they were left for since I have 100% positive feedback - no neutrals or negative.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
When I had mine removed, I actually didn't know which one it related to (I get over 500 feedbacks a month and I wasn't going to try and start trawling through that lot!). I phoned ebay and explained that I had received no negs or neutrals so the buyer concerned either made a mistake or was being malicious. They wouldn't tell me which buyer it was but removed the feedback and low stars anyway. How do you know which transaction the low stars were left for if you don't check the DSR rating everytime feedback is left? I went through the last 30 feedback in batches - about 1 weeks worth of feedback... Did take a while but as there were 1's across the board I did suspect just one person had don it...0

I already contacted eBay by email and phone regarding my low DSR for P&P charges as I am now limited to what I can list. I explained that I charge reasonable P&P, sometimes free, the actual cost or around 20p over so these low ratings seem malicious - possibly from someone who's had low DSR & restrictions themselves. He could see my DSR has improved (I also got an email stating this) so hopefully the restrictions will be lifted when my account is reviewd on the 20th Nov. I was told that restictions are computerised therefore they can not lift them manually which I find hard to believe so even if they did remove my low DSR rating my selling restrictions might still be in place.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

The difference is that if more than one person has left low stars then ebay see that as your 'usual' pattern of selling. The ones being removed are usually because they are one very poor lot in an otherwise perfect set of stars, enough to make it look 'unusual' and out of sync with what the seller usually gets.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Rather than post a new thread I thought it would be best to post my question here as it relates to DSR.
Do the Seller Performance numbers for low ratings show up as soon as some one has left feedback and hit low stars, or does it only update on the 20th of the month when your account is reviewed?
I know it says it is updated daily so I have been keeping an eye on my DSR whenever new feedback is left to see if anyone hits low on the stars, thankfully no one has hit low on the stars this month but just wondering if it updated as soon as the low stars are hit or at the end of the day or the 20th of the month?A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -

The expanded dashboard appears to update within 24-48 hours of stars being left.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. That way you can't really point out which transaction it was left for if you receive more than 1 feedback in 48 hours.
I think you should be able to see which transaction it was left for to give us sellers a chance to rectify the problem if we receive a low rating as it could also be a buyer being malicious.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
