Happy New Year Everyone!
Not sure about anyone else but i'm super excited about 2012. I just have a really good feeling about it and I really think there will be a lot of us that become debt free or as near as possible by the end of the year! Here's hoping!
Need to finalise my 2012 goals etc and then can post them. Bit behind what with being away until last last night.

To be updated once decided on goals....blank space for now!0

Been thinking about my goals for 2012 and I think I am going to go along the lines of lifestyle changes. Something that I can keep up forever and with things that will make a difference to my life for instance budgeting (something I am not good at at all), healthy eating (rather than dieting), taking up a language (free of course, teach myself!), little things like this. Obviously debt is a massive factor in my life so there will be a lot of finanical orientated goals but i'm trying to think outside the box where I can and deal with the problems at source rather than after. Hmmm, time for another ponder.....0

Hey there you!
Well done on getting the decs down, i've a mammoth task ahead as OH is out this evening but I am determined to do it so normality can resume. Still feeling out of sorts with day to day things as still have Christmas and NY in the house which is lovely but it basically involves finding a home for new presents, taking down the decs, catching up on washing from trip away....you get the picture. Don't feel I can embark on new challenges until I have got things back to normal!
BBC website have basic language courses you can sign up via email....i'm going to take a look for a start and then perhaps in Sept take a course with qualification at end (obviously pending money!)
Need to get on and sort wedding invites too....exciting!!!!!!!! They'll all be in the post by the weekend :-) xx0 -
Are the decs down???
I'll have a gander at the bbc site for the basic courses
Tomorrow is my getting back to normal day. The kids will have a shock when i get them up at 7am. They are used to laying in!!!

They are down but not packed away. Last night didn't go as planned, worked until 6:30pm and then went for a unplanned run and by time I got back needed to go to supermarket and then have dinner - I was sat taking them down at 10pm gone! Still they are down so this evening (after gym class) I will continue with sorting the house...bit behind on plans...I think my proper NY will start next week0 -
Productive day yesterday, worked late again (6pm), had me a bit of a relax and then cleared away all the decs and spring cleaned the entire downstairs. Why is it rooms always feel empty after you take down the Christmas decorations?
Anyhow, that's a massive tick off my to-do-list which i'm pleased about. Haven't really had a chance to think/look at money as been so busy with work and finishing late. Think i'll leave that until the weekend to be honest when I have more time.
This evening will be gym session (which reminds me must weigh myself this morn so know my starting weight) followed by little bit more tidying and writing names in invites ready to post out. Exciting!
Wedding aim for this weekend is to confirm/book first nights accommodation - think we know where we are going, just need to book it. I may even pop to the hotel and see what they have to offer in terms of rooms rather than just looking at the website.
Weekend brings a relaxed one, hopefully! Nothing planned except a gym class and visit to friend Sat afternoon. Other than that, nothing at all on the agenda apart from bit more clearing and wedding business.
Have a good Friday! x0 -
