    2. Make over-payment to at least one debt
    3. Sort/clear/clean conservatory
    4. Sort/clear/clean lounge
    5. Sort/clear/clean cupboard under stairs
    6. Sort/clear/clean kitchen
    7. Sort/clear/clean bedroom
    8. Sort/clear/clean office
    9. Scrub/spruce bathroom once paint has dried
10.Tidy/sort side passage and fill up skip ready to take next week.

Lots to be getting on with - OH is away until Sunday now so plenty of spare time to be getting on with it :)

    Almost done.....left is
    1. sort/clear/clean office
    2. make over-payment to at least one debt
  • Overpayment to Lloyds cc made - £3.92. Every penny helps :)

Only one thing left on weekend list to do now and that's sorting the spare room. Off to do some in a mo, already started so shouldn't take too long and then hopefully I can have me a relaxing Sunday :T

ALL DONE :) I am soooo pleased with myself, the house looks amazing, de-cluttered and sorted. Can't say that for the loft but hey don't have to look at that every day now do I ;) Annoying thing is now can't sleep, been up since 4am when OH came in from shift. I have 101 things running through my head about how to finish planning wedding, sorting car issue and most of all clearing this debt as don't want to be paying £900 odd each month, just keep thinking what life would be like if I didn't have it going out.....dreams for now but I WILL get there!

Oh and thought I'd start using my real name rather than Choc....can officially say no longer an addict and it is now a treat :) Now for the coffee problem, lol!

Hey Laura, indeed I have been a busy bee....I seem to work better that way!?!

    Thanks for subscribing rainbowneeks :D

Well my super positive attitude is still here, must be early Xmas spirit or something!

Yesterday was a much needed quality day with OH. It was nice just pottering all day, picked up a couple of bargain Xmas present, had spot of lunch and then over to in laws to be for Sunday roast in the evening. All in all a very lovely day.

So, back to work - have Thursday off this week to look foward too :) Meanwhile, it's full steam ahead and focusing on the debts! Will check bank account to see if I can manage any small overpayments.

I really do feel that 2012 is going to be an amazing year, for obvious reason being i'm getting married to my gorgeous OH!!!!!!! But I just think things feel under control now, all heading in the right direction and hopefully the little challenges i've set for 2012 (although I said I wasn't going to :rotfl:) will help me achieve my goals.

    Have a good day all,

    Karen x

Ooh, how exciting! Has carpet arrived yet? I love doing up our house, although kinda stopped now. Did paint bathroom at weekend though!

Just posted on your diary, hope you manage to find something to wear. I hate shopping for outfits that are out of the normal day to day spectrum....found it really hard with my wedding dress....although finally found 'the one' in the end.

Having me a very long long boring day at work....dull dull dull....we're off to friends this evening though so hopefully that'll be nice. Although need to wake up, so tired!

Another £1.37 to my Lloyds CC :) I'm actually getting excited about logging into my banking and making small overpayments. Hopefully I can keep this up and really start to see the balances changing.

Can not wait to see how much debt in total I have paid off this month, really feeling super motivated at the moment.

On another note, I have been thinking about a change of career/job - not for now but further down the line. I have been thinking of nursing (for some time now) and have decided that than aim/commit to a degree and total retrain that I will go along the lines of a Healthcare Assistant - that way still get to do the care side (even if some of it grotty) and see how I feel and then perhaps if I do want to fully train then i'll already be working in suitable field.

So, now I need to work out a starting point and go from there. I'd like to do some courses starting Sept next year so that's something I need to start saving for. I'm also thinking of perhaps getting a second job which will not only help with the pennies but also in getting some experience, probably some form of care assistant work. Will start researching this shortly after Christmas. All of this is only going to happen once current job has come to an end as salary is very good at the moment and I will probably have to half my salary to change jobs..... or indeed could think about it if the debt is gone and we're of sound financial status but meanwhile it doesn't stop me preparing and getting as much experience as possible.

I've decided I may up a few debt payments in the new year, really go for it but need to work out a very strict budget to stick to so am thinking Dec/Jan I will set a workable budget, see how I go and then rejig figures to see if I can't up some payments.
