What makes you feel old?

You know you're getting old when....
You and your teeth don't sleep together.
Your try to straighten out the wrinkles in your socks and discover you aren't wearing any.
Your back goes out but you stay home.
When happy hour is a nap.
Your idea of weight lifting is standing up.
It takes longer to rest than it did to get tired.
Your address book has mostly names that start with Dr.
Getting "lucky" means you found your car in the parking lot.
The twinkle in your eye is merely a reflection from the sun on your bifocals.
It takes twice as long - to look half as good.
Everything hurts, and what doesn't hurt - doesn't work.
You now TRY WEAKLY to do what you used to do TRI-NIGHTLY
Personally I am not OVER THE HILL!
However I do have a bloody good view of the valley
Cheer up everyone - age is only numbers after your nameMoney won't buy you happiness
But at least you can be miserable in comfort

I was helping to tutor a young trainee dental nurse this week and she complained that at 18, she was 'getting old'!
I told her to p*ss off!
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
How about judging a pub by the cleanliness of the toilets and the ability to have a nice conversation without having to shout, instead of the depth of the barmaids cleavage.0

When you answer the door to 2 charity reps who tell you that they spoke to your son earlier, except you know that it was your OH that they spoke to:eek:

That's got nothing to do with age..I've done that for years...and I'm not 33 yet! Although I have to say....with regards to the depth of the barmaids cleavage...being the woman I am.....I may have ...just on occasion:rolleyes: ....commented (rather loudly) on the amount of flesh on show/leaving nothing to the imagination/making x person look like a tart etc etc ........I'm surprised they don't spit in my drinks:D0
