The thing is, the site is a .co.uk one and at no point is there an indication that the goods will be delivered from overseas. Prices are all quoted in GBP too and if the goods are fake and poor quality then there is no way you should be expected, as a condition of a refund, to pay for postage for returning the fake goods.

If fake and you are sending them in the post then is that an offence under our laws for handling fake merchandise? In which case should we not be informing the police or FACT and sending them the DVD's as evidence. In which case are paypal then breaking laws by asking you to break the law by sending back fake merchandise to get a refund. Even if they are not fake but as indicated there is a message on the back of the DVD saying only for sale in the USA, then there must be laws being breached somewhere.

If my order comes and requires a signature then i am going to decline the order which means it will be sent back. If it comes and requires no signature then i would be inclined to say it never came if i am to be expected to send it back at a cost of over a fiver.
• They're basically just copies you would expect from a looky looky man abroad,if you were buying them for a couple of quid and didn't care if they were the real deal. The Jungle Book dvd i have received has actually got 'Jungle Boek ' printed on it.How they expect to get away with this is a joke.

Did you have to sign for it?

Keep me informed with how you get on with paypal please. Like i mentioned in my post before, if fake then for paypal to ask you to return fake goods in order to get refunded must be an offence?

I thought when paying with paypal it offered protection against this kind of thing happening.
• I brought a DVD from winkbox and it's a complete scam. I ordered disney DVD on 29 November and they took my money and I have still not received the DVD and from reading these messages not likely to either and then to top it all after giving my PayPal details that night someone tried to clear out my bank account during the night - coincidence or what!!!! Do not use this company they are fake and I have now registered complaint with PayPal. PRAMOT PORNSAKUNPHAISAN was the name on bank account:mad::mad:
• I have a feeling that if PayPal ask me to return the DVDs when they arrive that they will either never actually arrive (if you know what I mean) or I will have already handed them to Trading Standards for destruction.

PS, I feel even more stupid for not recognising the alleged website owners name before (Registrant: Hayden Panettiere) - if she's runnning the website I'll never get my money back lol!

Best of luck to you all in your claims.
• PS. i'd also like to mention "the hut" as another DVD retailer scam website from last christmas
The hut is a legit company.
is officially a GLEEK
• If yure not signing for them then say you never received them, its upto the seller to prove you received them and if they are fake you would assume theyd refund no questions asked. If you want the site closed down then you have to report to FACT and not just paypal, who cant get the site closed. x
1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
50p: Christmas presents £3.50
£2: holidays £2.00
• I've changed my claim to Item Not as Described. In the message to Paypal i have told them i do know they have made other buyers pay the full postage for returning the fake dvds back to Thailand. I have told them that i do not feel safe or that i should have to be sending fake goods to the other side of the world. And asked what they suggest i do with them. Paypal are now looking into the c.laim and i am awaiting a response from them rather than the dodgy b*****d seller. Has anyone reported them to the FACT at all?surely Paypal should be reporting them as well, with all the claims they have received about the same seller!?I would like to know if Paypal have stopped allowing them to use their services as well. Will let you all know how the claim unfolds

I registered at this site 9 December and should have smelled a rat when I did not receive a confirmation e-mail. When I tried to log back in to the website with the e-mail account and password it said my mail account did not exist. I sent an e-mail to the address on the site winkboxshop@aol.co.uk, surprise surprise no response, then I forwarded it to the e-mail address on the paypal payment disneyland1975@hotmail.com, still no response. When I raised a dispute with paypal (payment went to account name SUNET AIYAKA) I also got the message a previous poster has mentioned that an immediate dispute would be raised. I also have to wait until 26 December for a resolution, but now feel as other people have said, why doesn't paypal put a stop on them??

I have never been caught by a scammer before so I am evil that Christmas fever made me less cautious than I usually am. Can anyone advise who we can raise alarm bells with and get them closed down as I feel really annoyed about it, even though this is a relatively small amount of money for me (£10.94) I just hate people ripping us off.
