Thanks SpagBol, I hadn't realised I'd not mentioned it on here until I sorted out the appointment today. I think I've been hiding from it, but now it's all out there for the interwebs to see I feel much better
Apparently they'll just zap the bad cells and they've been doing that for 25 years so I should be a ok
Just been naughty and ordered crafty things I need for the craft fair on my cc tsk tsk. I really needed the quilting hoop, cotton thread, interfacing, lining, and quilting needles though so I don't feel too guilty
I think I shall start sandwiching my quilt together today, how exciting is that!Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Right, so I appear to be in a get stuff done mood today. Called up the hospital to rearrange my colposcopy as I have an all day workshop with a customer the day they booked it, it happened the be the only day this month I have work commitments typical. Anyway, that's been rearranged for the 25th and I think I'm ok with it. Although I wasn't when I first saw the initial letter, however that said there were mild cell changes so I don't think it's anything to worry about. However, given that I already have thyroid cancer to deal with seeing a letter saying there's even the slightest chance of something else cancerous is really scary and was quite a shock. Thankfully my sister, boyfriend, parents and housemate are really supportive and I've calmed down completely about it now. After all, if you worry you die, if you don't worry you still die, so why worry?
There's productive worry, and there is unproductive worry.
Productive worry gets you tests and treatment. Unproductive worry just has no effect whatsoever apart from to make you feel bad.
:grouphug: to you.Expenses still haven't shown up in my bank account, I'm getting pretty peeved now as noone has answered my service request or emails on this (I know it's been a bank holiday but this is a real concern!!!)
For some people, every day is a bank holiday. Sometimes a double bank-holiday if they've screwed up.So no debt-busting today grrr.
Right best get dressed and move the car, it's raining so I think I'll just chuck it up the road today as I'm not someone to walk miles in the rain just to save a small bit of fuel. I'll only make myself ill!

Z, my bank or more probable my work are rubbish and no expenses showing as being paid tomorrow either

Hi Kerry, just had a catch up on your goings on. Love the purse (and the Kindle cover too, but the purse is so 'me'!) and hope the craft fair goes well.
Best of luck for 25th - you will, as you know, be fine and it's great to hear your boyfriend and family are so supportive xLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

Hi Happy
nice to hear from you. Thank you for your compliments on the purse and cover, I'm loving doing something creative and so glad I stopped going out drinking and instead found myself an interesting hobby that I absolutely love.
Thanks for the well wishes, my OH and family are really supportive, my sister has become my best friend over the past few years which I find really funny as we used to fight like cat and dog allll the time, it's amazing how growing up a little can change a relationship
My cousins wife wants to buy my e-reader cover from me, *squeals*, so I'm going to take it down to Bournemouth with me for her when I go down this weekend. She'd also like the purse, which means I have nothing for the craft fair so I best get on and make some more todayReally enjoying something that can bring in a few pennies.
Right, best pop off to move the car before the evil traffic warden comes to give me a fine. Still no expenses and I reckon it'll get paid tonight to turn up tomorrow. Although I'm also annoyed that my manager hasn't approved my £280 of expenses that should be paid this week yet, so I guess that'll turn up next weekI hate how money controls everything grrr.

Thank you DFW, I lovvve the butterflies too
I think they're by STOF if I remember correctly.
Fallen, you don't need a new reader coverI can give you the pattern details if you'd like to make your own though, it's really simple and easy peasy
Well my expenses have just come in, so it's time for a financial update I think, a bit disappointed that I can't reduce my OD amount though as it'll leave me tight if I have another problem with my expenses next week:
bank: £266.76 available
mobile: £24.11
pet insurance: £29
car insurance: £34.34
veg box: £13.15
veg box: £19.05
petrol to parents: £50 (maybe less)
Right, I've had enough of this expenses rubbish so I've ordered a new cc purely for expenses to go onto! When the expenses are repaid the cc will be paid back, this way I can buy train tickets, petrol, anything else that is work related on this card and I know that I won't start to get in a panic if the repayment is delayed by a week. However, what I will do is write a big sticker on it saying "work use only" that way I will be reminded not to be tempted into buying pretty things on itDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Ooooh love the reader cover and the purse is even prettier :j
*note to self, must learn to use sewing machine not just online Kerri shop*
Good plan re expenses - I had been thinking of doing the same thing. (Then I decided work could just pay the extra £40 for me to go by train and get there an hour faster, and that means I get the underground ticket too, so now I only have to claim for lunch.)

Rosa, you are banned from my online shop when I get round to making it. I'm trying to make lots of lovely things to put in it first, no point opening a shop for it to be empty
Instead, you can download for free my lovely patterns and make your own*nods enthusiastically*. I will even let you in on the little secret of the lovely American shop where I get my gorgeous fabrics from if you like.
I'm busy being crafty this evening, I'm working with a gorgeous red and black Robert Kaufman fabric this evening. I've made a card wallet, keyfob wristlet and am now working on a small clutch bag
Best get on with it xxDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
