    *helps Rosa up*
The irony is, the stamps haven't arrived yet! I ordered them on Sunday!!! RM are going to have an angry Kerri on their hands if they never show. £150 is a LOT of money for one small person. Good job I don't have any parcels to post just yet grrr.

No debt-busting recently, my expenses have gone missing. When they arrive I shall reduce the OD by £50 :) when the next lot arrive I shall reduce it by £50 again. This will leave me with about £380 spare, with £80 to go to veg boxes, £200 for weekly spends across the month, and £100 for petrol.

  • well done kerri :T that's great news :)

And i'm with Rosa  £150 on stamps!! I know they'll get used but wowsa! I never buy things that small my kids would have them stuck all over their walls, thrown in the bin or hoovered up lol

As for your so-called mates grrr i wouldn't waste my time or breath on them anymore. I absolutely hate it when people think they have the right to comment on your life when they don't even know the full story or know you very well!

anyway rant over, have a lovely day :) xx

Aw I love a rant DFW so please feel free. I know it's a lot of money to spend on stamps, but I still have over 100 items to sell on fleabay so it'll save me money in the long term.

I've sent off another email this morning regarding my missing expenses payment, checked the bank and it's definitely not there uh oh! It's really frustrating as I want to pay off money from my OD but it's holding me back :( I'm hoping that this weeks expenses don't go missing as well as that's £280 I've just submitted.

It's a horrible rainy day today, so I'm glad I'm tucked up in bed. I'm going to be naughty and spend £10 on my cc to order a pizza, I'd order it from my b/a if my expenses had been paid, but I'll just pay it back when the expenses come in. I've got really bad earache which has meant I can't go to my aunties 50th, I was really looking forward to seeing my nephews. So instead I'm going to tuck myself up in bed watching tv until this evening, then I'm going to make some purses for the craft fair this weekend. I have 10 small purses and 10 large purses to make. I also need to find a pattern for e-reader covers/tablet covers as well. Then I am going to make 3 baby quilts and some placemats if I have time. Obviously I won't be making all of these this evening, but I can at least make a start :)

  • sounds like a fab day to me! I wish i could take myself back to bed and i also wish i had time to make things. Every time i get the the sewing machine out the kids are all over it and won't leave me or it alone so i get no time to make things anymore :) i can't wait to move house i will be looking for a house with space for it to go and in a seperate space from where the kids play lol xx

I hope your earache clears up xx

Thanks DFW. You could always try to get the kids to do some craft whilst you sew? Maybe get them to stick on gems or something whilst you sew the things? Although I guess that depends how old they are. If my nephew was around I'd have no chance as he's only 2. xx

Well, seeing as I have no money to buy anything with other than pay bills until they sort out my expenses, I've made a Mr T order using the details from my chopped in half cc. I've ordered the rest of the ingredients that I need to make bread in my bread maker with. Did I mention I got given one the other day? Anyway, I had no idea that bread had semolina in or dried milk?!?! But I've ordered those things and made sure to get them from the caribbean/asian aisles as they're much cheaper. I've stocked up on half price hayfever tablets, and bulk bought my 57p cloudy lemonade that I love.

In the mix is also some emergency pizza, tomato soups (really can't be bothered to make these myself when I'm feeling poorly), screenwash for the car as it's half price, aa batteries that were on offer, actually I might just copy and paste my list as it is quite bizarre, who knows what goes on in my mind when I'm food shopping....

    5 x tomato soup
    1 x pizza funghi
    1 x pizza mozzarella
    2 x screenwash
    2 x 4pack aa batteries
    2 x 1lt x virgin olive oil
    1 x 910g tomato ketchup
    1 x 500g semolina
    1 x jaffa cakes
    1 x grain crackers 200g
    1 x 4pack spaghetti in tom sauce
    1 x sun dried tom pesto 190g
    1 x 5kg granuated sugar
    2 x 5 pack custard doughnuts
    1 x spa shower gel
    1 x curly fries 750g
    1 x chocolate inspiration icecream 900ml
    5 x 12pack hayfever tablets
    1 x itchy eye drops
1 x pasta bake creamy tom and herb 500g
    1 x garden peas 900g
    2 x large yoghurt pots
    1 x 900g milk powder
    1 x 12 mini muffins
    2 x cheese spread triangles
    1 x 300g egg noodles

Told you it was bizarre!!! I've also just "treated" myself to woodfire pizza takeaway, it's the only type of takeaway that's anything decent round here. You'd think in such a large city that the chinese/indian would be fairly decent, but sadly no. So it's pizza or nothing, I feel too bleugh to cook, so I've put that on the cc as well. As soon as the expenses come through I shall pay off the cc immediately. These are things I would be paying for with the expenses money, had it bothered to turn up!

The problem with sleeping through the day is you can't sleep at night tsk tsk. Watching a certain film, about a certain lady Tory, the last time they were in power.

Right, so I appear to be in a get stuff done mood today. Called up the hospital to rearrange my colposcopy as I have an all day workshop with a customer the day they booked it, it happened the be the only day this month I have work commitments typical. Anyway, that's been rearranged for the 25th and I think I'm ok with it. Although I wasn't when I first saw the initial letter, however that said there were mild cell changes so I don't think it's anything to worry about. However, given that I already have thyroid cancer to deal with seeing a letter saying there's even the slightest chance of something else cancerous is really scary and was quite a shock. Thankfully my sister, boyfriend, parents and housemate are really supportive and I've calmed down completely about it now. After all, if you worry you die, if you don't worry you still die, so why worry?

Expenses still haven't shown up in my bank account, I'm getting pretty peeved now as noone has answered my service request or emails on this (I know it's been a bank holiday but this is a real concern!!!) So no debt-busting today grrr.

Right best get dressed and move the car, it's raining so I think I'll just chuck it up the road today as I'm not someone to walk miles in the rain just to save a small bit of fuel. I'll only make myself ill!
