It looks great Kerri ! Well Done !

DFW I know it looks huge but it didn't take too much to sew it all together when I finally cut all the pieces out :) It's all straight lines so really simples!

Sorry I've been AWOL it's been a busy week what with commuting from Bournemouth to Reading each day causing me to endure a 12hr day from door to door :( when I got home I either worked on my quilt or watched tv as I was zonked. My hayfever is in full swing today though, thanks very much mother nature!

Anyway, I've had to be naughty and put the parking fine on my c/c as it's just too close to payday to pay it off from debit card. Also, I had to put in £90 of full this week so that's my excuse. I'm going to pay off the c/c straight away on Monday so I'm not too worried about having done it, and it is there for emergencies like that. Just pleased it's cut up as otherwise I've no doubt it would have been used to pay for cake or coffee or something like that.

I did try offering the DCA for my loan £500 to close the account but they were having none of it, apparently nothing less than £1100 (reduces it by £300 at least) so I will just use the £500 this month to either pay off the OD or pay off the remainder of the c/c. I really want to have £600 in savings before I go and close the OD, so this month is going to be a real drive to spend just £50 a week on play, rather than the astronomical amounts I spent last month. Although I have found a fabric shop in North London that sells the batting I want for my quilt, it's 50% bamboo, 50% cotton completely organic and unbleached, so that will be this months fab purchase. Anything else will have to wait until next month or come out of my £50./week.

The gas is turned on in the flat again but I've stayed down at my parents as it's MSE because they feed me oh and I get to see my nephews :)

I think I've also now managed to convince the OH that he should do a MSc with placement after he qualifies with his degree :) I did also suggest he moves in with me, to which he is going to think about it but it's an incredibly scary prospect apparently. Which is much better than a no :)

Oh and the progress of the quilt so far...

Quilt looks really really fantastic, I bet you are pleased.

I don't blame you for staying at parents, hope you are having a good time and enjoying seeing your nephews.

I went to the crochet course I told you about this morning, great fun and only 4 of us plus the teacher. We did granny squares and she is going to organise some more courses for the future, so my name is already down.

    Enjoy your week end

Ok so I've been awol again, oops! I shall proper update when I get a spare 10 minutes, but I had to share my most amusing point of my evening out for some drinks tonight. Wait for it...
That moment when.... you think to yourself why are you sharing your opinion with me if it's preceded by "I know you don't care about my opinion but..."
My housemates best friend, who I have little time for, decided to tell me she doesn't really rate my OH and started questioning me on whether he really loves me, I really love him, and telling me that she thinks he's quite false. Could say the same about you love, and given that you've only met him twice and both times you were wasted I very much doubt you're qualified to give an opinion thank you very much.

It's also come to light that my "friends", without speaking to me about it, seem to have been discussing the fact I've decided to leave London and there seems to be some air about it that they think I'm doing it because of a boy. Urm, no that may well be the less hurtful excuse, but the main reason is I want to get away from all the darkness that has occurred in my life and that all evolved around them and their intertwined b1tchy ways. Sooo much happier when I don't have to hear their opinions.

Note to self, when invited out for drinks just.say.no!

    <to the theme of the conga> 2k, 2k, 2k! 2k, 2k, 2k! That's all I have left to pay, that's all I have left to pay whoop whoop whoop :D how exciting!!!!

However, there was a splurge of "yay I've been paid" spending.....

£150 on large letter stamps (honestly this will save me when I fleabay and if I ever get my online shop up and running)
    £28 railcard (work expensable :) )
£45 train ticket to cardiff (work expensable)
    £90 petrol (work expensable)
£14.70 Le Cru3set butter dish (a want not a need, it was pretty!)
    £4.82 fleabay postage
    £16.70 dinner on monday
£147 gas & electric quarterly bill (need)
    £20 2 400 TC pillow cases (want)
£35 2 new pillows as my current ones are giving me a bad back because they're too low (need)
£2.50 pizza cutter as old one was thrown out with pizza box oops (want)
£85.40 quilt batting, and buttons & linings for making items for craft fair (wants ish)
    £20 tfl auto-top up (need)
£13.66 outlet chocolate shop (want, although cheaper than petrol station and some of it is to be paid back by my sister :) )
    £12 mattress protector
£8.50 car parking fee (work expensable)
    £12 craft fair fee (want)

paid cc off in full, one less creditor to worry about :D but that was £35 in interest eugh!

Soooo that means stuff that isn't bills or work expenses I have spent:
    £386.78

I feel like I am all shopped out for the month, phew! Well I should be all shopped out shouldn't I for that!!! I really do hope I can get some time over the weekend to make some things for the craft fair otherwise I'll be sat there with nothing to sell, and that's not good is it?

Oooh the bank paid me 3p this month! I haven't had a bank pay ME money in ages, always take take take. Apparently there's such thing as interest that gets paid to you if you are in the black, most exciting thing I've seen in a long time :) I'm looking forward to when my current account is also in the black instead of the red. I'm officially banned from buying anymore fabric or household luxuries until I have been paid again, so 4 weeks time! This is definitely manageable :)

Sacre bleu! I've just checked to see if my expenses have been paid into my bank account like the email says and the £190 I am expecting is not there uh oh! I shall have to check tomorrow in case it was paid a day late, otherwise it's going to have to be emails to the expense team to find out how they managed to !!!! it up this time. That's quite a lot of money to one small person though. However, I was just looking at my bank account as if it had been paid and worked out that even after bills and spending I would have over £100 left over :) fingers crossed the expenses turn up and I don't have to go chasing as that could be a long drawn out process eugh! Luckily I have enough money to get by without the expenses coming in though :)
