Thanks guys here's a picture I'm sure my sister won't mind me sharing as all babies look the same anyway ;)

Debt busting alert, tcb is tracking my mecca with £15.15 cashback, that'll be awesome if it comes in as it'll mean I spent £20, gained £33 plus £15 :D Should really check if any of the others have paid me as that can go onto freemans if they have :D

I was such a good girl :) gala paid me and I put it straight onto freemans. *pats herself on back* I have £71 left to pay on freemans, so hoping I'll get some more fleabay winnings before then and I'll have money leftover at the end of the month for the first time in ages then :D

There's a very heated debate going on on my FB at the moment regarding the working for benefits article I read this morning. Some people just shouldn't get into an argument with me when I know they're a complete hypocrite. I'm all in favour of giving people benefits when they really need them, don't get me wrong, but university graduates kicking up over working 2 weeks stacking shelves... please! Anyway, I don't think I'm the best person to go up against when it comes to my opinions on politics, or so the debate is proving... especially given that my friend who is against me has put through false receipts on his tax return and used an offshore company to put his wages through....

Anyway, 35% done, 65% to go... slowly, slowly, like the tortoise :)

Almost there, I've decided to pay them all my winnings when they come in as I've got enough to do so without leaving myself completely strapped :D

I ended up telling my friend to go away until they had some integrity, they seem to only debate for the sake of causing arguments so that shut them up pretty quickly.

Just ordered £25 worth of veg to arrive next Thursday and some milk, eggs, garlic & bananas :) OH has said that he'll come to visit from the 14th so I wanted to make sure I had enough food in the fridge to stop him having to go to the SM as he'll end up spending too much money like last time. The bananas as because I'll have started my new job and will need to buy my own fruit again :( bananas and cherries are the only ones I really eat in work at the moment. I think I've actually got more in my order than if I'd ordered a box by itself, and it's all stuff that I'll eat happily rather than getting say a cabbage and being clueless as to what to do with it.

Stuff I fleabayed last night is gradually getting some watchers, finally, the stuff I've relisted has been sat there doing nothing for the past 3 days. I figured if I draw some attention to my items by listing more then people might flit through looking for some cherries :)

    Hi

Haven't posted here for a while cos have been working. Nice to read your news though and your new nephew is very sweet. Aaw! Think you need tobuy food you will actually eat otherwise that is a real waste..I love R&verford but there are quite a lot of spring greens and cabbages in the boxes at the mo and I do now hanker for something else!!

Heres to some more watchers this week and maybe a few bids!!

Ok some of the super scrimpers are freaking me out... I don't think I can go as far as having legwarmers made from old granny jumpers...

    Finances update...
Well I have been a bit spendy. Friday I put £30.01 into my car as liquid gold :( although this was budgeted for, so kudos to me for that. I spent Friday at our friends for a birthday party and I didn't drink, this saved me cash and hangover :) We ended up going to bed about 6am and woke about 11am. OH went and bought us bits for brekkie so I didn't spend then either.
We went to Mr T on the way back from the party and picked up a few bits, OH decided he was paying so I only needed to give him £3 towards a cheesecake... not sure how that worked, but I wasn't arguing. Convinced him out of ordering pizza as well :) instead he had egg butties and I ate cheesecake om nom nom. Ooh and I bought Mr T own cloudy lemonade, which not only tastes better but at 54p a 2lt bottle you can't go wrong.
Sunday was a lazy day, cheesecake for breakfast then I needed to go to Mr T for a mini usb in car charger. Came out with a £7.56 usb in car charger and a £4.96 mini usb cable. However, turns out the cable doesn't fit the tomtom that I bought it for. Also bought my new nephew a dungaree outfit for £14, a elephant soother thingy (square soft fabric with elephant hands and legs) for £4 and my 2yo nephew a stack-a-brick wooden puzzle toy for about £6. I paid for the things in Mr T with cash from what I recall...
I had to get more petrol on the way back and managed to find e55o for 131.9p/lt and put in £35.03 (can never get it exact).
Since I've been at my parents I've bought cakes for £2.82 and that's it :)

For some reason I thought I'd spent more than that, but I think that's just because the 2nd trip to Mr T was unexpected. It does mean I've blown my monthly purse money, but maybe I had set the target too low. We'll see how the rest of the month pans out.

My Dad has told me he thinks I'm eccentric with my bulk buying, however without it he wouldn't have a freezer full of mince or a cupboard full of dishwasher tablets...I think he should hush don't you? :p

    Current finances:
bank a/c: £117 remaining before OD limit
    c/c: £132
    pots: £46
    savings: £160 - can't touch

So I still have lots of money squirrelled away and I have listings ending on fleabay in the next day or so :) things I've relisted are selling which is good, I think the improved photos made a big difference. I'm still waiting for the cashback from the bingo to appear, and worried it won't. However, if it does all track then I've got £79 coming back to me. Whoop whoop

  • My hubby thinks I also am eccentric (or mad, seeing as though I don't have a pot to p1ss in i suppose i'm not allowed to be called eccentric :rotfl:)

He has told anyone and everyone what a batty wife he has stockpiling everything i can get my hands on :rotfl: I don't see him complaining though when he ran out of butter and i had some spare (well 5 tubs to be correct :p) and shampoo & deoderant  so i think he should just shush too :rotfl:
