    Thanks DFW :)

HP I feel like I've achieved loads although haven't really done much. My attitude to spending is definitely changing. I now don't count the money in the online saver as money I can spend, as well as no longer thinking "oooh I can buy this". I now think "Oooh I can overpay this" Don't worry I'm not telling my sister, will make sure she still pays me each month. Good luck with the halicarp card :)

Beanielou I've already asked for it in writing :) Moorcroft offered me a settlement a few years ago and I snapped it up back then when I was less wise about debt, that cleared the balance but showed as settled on my credit file. The default on my lloyds is there for 6 years anyway, so I don't care as long as the moneys gone :)

Can't believe yesterday I was a quarter of the way and now I'm a third :) By the end of Feb I'll be at my halfway point *claps lots* let's just hope nothing bad happens between now and then *fingers crossed* I haven't left any room for flights to Canada, so these will have to be scrimped from somewhere else. Told OH about getting Wescott reduced and he was really impressed that in 6 months time I'll be debt free :) He said that'll be a real achievement

Just redeemed another £5 amaz0n voucher from SB, that's £20 from them so far. I realise this morning that my super tight budget for killing the debt that I decided on last night does not take into account that I need another £70 for OH's kindel. Oh well, will have to try to pull that out of other budgets, however he did decide he wanted the £149 one when I was going to get him the £89 one, hmph! Will just keep doing surveys and see how much I can make for free first I think.
My sister's still not had her baby but she is in quite a bit of pain so hopefully he'll be born over the weekend :)
Best get off to work, today should be a NSD as I've already budgeted petrol and will take in more leftover curry for lunch mmm

Ive just caught up on your diary and your doing amazingly well and sounding very happy :-) Keep up the good work :-)
  • Kerri, I feel exhausted just reading through your posts of the last two days.
What great news with Wescott and Lloyds :j . Well Done ! Make sure you get something in writing from them both to confirm the verbal agreement.

The Clarins goodies for your mum sound lovely and a great bargain. Bet she will be thrilled with them on her birthday !

I really hope your dream of taking over the flat ( and owning the cat !) come true for you. Now that you are getting straight hopefully that dream can become a reality before you know it ! Reach for the Sky ( or is it the stars ?!!) I'm never quite sure ?!:rotfl:

Hope today is as good for you as the last few have been x

    Thanks cherry :)
Thanks Mrs Pinot, I've had a quick look around though and found 2 bed flats in the area for £300 or so less a month, so more likely that I'd move to somewhere a bit cheaper upon reflection. Then the extra can go towards a mortgage. I'll try to write less so you are less exhausted reading :)
I don't have any debt busting today, but it is a NSD as petrol is already accounted for out of the petrol budget of £30 :) Lunch is leftover curry with quinoa. Dinner will be cooked by my parents, although wondering how they're going to cope with me being veggie now. They weren't too keen on this when I mentioned it last time.

Not a NSD afterall, just paid £14.50 for bus tickets so my OH can come to see me next weekend. I really wish that he'd offered to pay as I always pay for my petrol when I go to visit him, but nevermind. This is coming out of my £20 purse money for next week. Not sure what we're going to do next week as I don't want to be doing anything that means spending money, maybe go and do some stuff up the allotment. He likes digging and I like weeding so could be a good shout. It's starting to get to me that he's leaving in one months time and I won't get to see him for 4 months, plus between now and then I'll probably only see him once or twice :( He's started to notice this as well and we seem to keep apologising to each other. I don't think we're very in sync at the moment. Canada has really thrown a spanner into the works, he was going to come to London and live with me from end of January until September and we were going to get a place together. So I think I feel a little abandoned. I'll get over it though :) This is also the longest I've gone without seeing him for a long time too, so that's probably not helping.

Have a great time with your parents, hope they cooked something tasty:)

Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit down about OH going away but I echo the others' sentiments. We'll be here in the meantime (and after hopefully) to keep you company. From all your posts, you certainly keep busy, so occupying yourself should be fine, I get what you mean tho:( about missing him.

    Have a fab weekend;)

ps How do you get the Amazn vouchers? I can't get my head round survey sites, if that's where they're from:o
Everything is ok in the end. If it's not ok, then it's not the end:)

    Every penny's a prisoner:p
