Get the solar cooker out .....LOL
Anyhow yesterday was about as stressful as it could possibly get :P....
All was fine (only I was grumpy) yesterday am. Then pm I got invited out to my friend's allotment - thought why not? Will do me good. Only to have a leaky water bottle in my bag and the phone to die (fixed with putting it in a tub of rice) and my favourite e-cig to die too....Then by the time I'd finished my other e-cig wasn't working
so I had very little sleep with nic withdrawal (Wasn't till I found my inhalator and got some nic I could sleep :T) so yeah. Spare one is fixed now...I changed the cartridge (did everything else but that in the middle of the night *thud*) but still....
And now I have a wee tiny allotment - :A...yay...it's a commmunity run thing so really nice. Of course I missed out on the spades but still. I've ordered a fork off amazon for £12 (eek) so Dv that will come by next Saturday....
And meds are working :j...Yay Erme is off jags and her new meds are working so long as she practises self care (like don't wear myself out)...Yay :A - sure it's part the caffeine and nic reduction but still...
My plot is so tiny (only £5 for the year though plus £5 key deposit) so I'm just just going to grow a few things and put salad veggies in over the winter for fertiliser and I think it has to be all organic. So much fun though....

Well done you - I would love to have an allotment but theyre like gold around here with a long waitng list:(0 -
Hello
I been lurking on this thread for the last few weeks and I love it!
I ordered my sample of soapnuts and love them too, think that alone will save me fortune. Sent off the cheque to order a big bag of them. I done about 8 loads over the weekend with them (did bedding and all sorts). I still have half a box of powder lefty, so will help me until the soapnuts arrive. I only ever buy things like this when they are on offer anyway.
I have a lot of credit card debt and have been a good girl this month with making overpayments, originally looked at this thread for inspiration, but am enjoying reading about the antics of you lot! I also have one DS, age 5 who has gone onto packed lunches, I think this saves money.
As we are discussing animals, I have one puss, who is also living frugally as he has downgraded from whiskas simply to asda own for senior cats, quite pleased as he is a fussy !!!!!. I have also remembered he needs to have his booster injections as they are overdue, going to contact vets to find out how much this costs.
I will only be an occasional poster, as I dont like leaving too many details of my personal life online.
As I get time, I am going to look at the first page of posts to find more inspiration.
Thanks guys and happy weekend (its lovely and sunny here)0 -
