Sort of Frugal day, in one way. I "sold" one of my hearts on strings today, but the lady is a friend, and she went to the post office and the chemist for me, so I didnt actually see the cash, but had letters/stamps posted, and medicine for DGD bought and dropped off, so I am fine about that one.
Also it may lead to some other orders, as two women were passing the gate when she was leaving and she showed them what she had, and told them about the bunting I made for her duaghters bedroom. Lady asked me the price of the bunting, and said that she wants some for April, going to ask her daughter about it, but has a grandson she is thinking about for it. so maybe I will get some work from it. Told my friend she could earn commission if she wants to sell my craft work!

Would have been a NSD today.... til the car failed its MOT..... £463:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I put £150 a month in a seperate account to pay for services, MOTs tax and insurance with the hope I would build a lump to pay for the next car too - but I might need to increase it to £200 just to stay static:mad: - The cars only just had a big service and now the tax is due so I'm having to dip into contingency budget. I just cant get aheadDFWNerd 1417

Then they brought the most scruffy, dirty, bizarre looking dog I have ever seen. He is a bichon cross westie who was 1 HOUR FROM DEATH ROW Gave him a five minute walk and he was a delight, no pulling and a very gentle nature. Some one has tried to cut his fur and it looks like a two year old has done it
Ohh paidinChickens, I have a poodle x bichon(re-homed too!),and I know someone who has the same as yours - same temperament as a westie but with this fab half curled coat! Don't panic if they cut him right back it will be best thing for him,I know mine is due to go to groomers -just have to keep on top of the coat afterwards.
Mine just loves sitting on my lap(Bichons are renowned for it,they were breed to be ladies lap dogs, their bark would welcome those onto the boats in the Med I think and they would sit on the ladies laps as they soaked up the sun,or something like that:rotfl:),and they are so nosy and they love people sooooo much-
I get stopped by so many people wanting to chat to me about him, lots of admiration and he is so scruffy at moment too but it's their character(oh and big brown eyes, soft velvet brown nose all amongst all those curls!)
Most people think he looks like a teddy bear!
Good luck with your new doggie friend -am sure he will fit in just nice!Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

If it was me, and I'd just paid for a big service (which I have) and my car then failed it's MOT, I would be absolutely livid with the garage - presuming it's the same one?
If there were problems severe enough for it to fail the MOT, these should've been sorted out at that point / at least highlighted to you so you could get them fixed beforehand.
If it was the same garage, I'd be complaining ..... strongly!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
