They are lovely pics - but er, the black and white cat is stalking the chooks in pic 1 ?! Hope they don't get ambitious!

No they have been fine. As soon as the chooks move or flap the cats scarper :D I don't leave them alone though, the foster cats in the pen have been sat licking their lips since we got them :rotfl:

Just the dog to settle in on Friday and we will be a full house.

  • Morning all - 3 more nsd so looking good for this month lol

Can you peeps help out with a problem that a friend has with his cat? Poor puss has been itching round the base of his tail and the vet won't see him unless hes sedated which my friend wants to try to avoid if poss. Last time the cat had to visit the vet he amputated a leg so he has horrible memories and attacks the vet at the least opportunity - understandable really.

Anyway, did I read of something on here that somebody recommended for a dog with a similar problem? Or maybe I'm getting mixed up with somebodys foot :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It was me .... this stuff http://www.aromesse.com/skin-problem/Dermacton_Cream_for_itchy_dogs.html not sure if you can use it on cats though.... poor wee lamb, not surprised he hates the vets

Can you friend see if it's actually his skin that's irritated - it's unlikely to be glands as cats rarely suffer from this problem (of which I'm eternally grateful;)). Your friend could try a dose of wormer (esp if it's been a while since it was done) and see if that does the trick.

Check for fleas and worms and then change vet.

Our vet lets you go and see the nurse and have a look round when the vets are not working to help put your pet at ease. I have never known a vet to refuse to see a cat without sedating

If she changed vets the cat would not know where it was going either. I take all sorts to mine, the foster cats can be a bit of a handful and the vet does not blink even though it can take three of us to hold em :rotfl:

I hope it is better soon

    I must stop talking about pets.......sorry :o

Had quite a good day with my back and have pootled around cleaning and tidying at a steady pace, even manage to make some gingerbread men.

I do feel happier in a tidy house :) the only problem is it's only tidy downstairs :rotfl:
