Not that it surprises me but how do you know as fact? Were you a mod?

It says so in the forum t&c's

geoffky: yup, the nominal crash was pretty much straight after the peak. What we have now is the car skidding along the ice. It might hit a couple of bollards before it slows to a stop but it's not going to flip over six times and explode hollywood-style anymore.

Just becasue it says it int the T&C's doesn't necessarily mean they are read. From what Geoffry was saying he knew it as fact that they are actively monitoring private messages.

I received a pm while I was posting on there .... I couldn't access it - as far as I could make out, it had been intercepted and read and then deleted (but it still showed as unread in my e-mail).

"HPC - populated by Man Babies"

    Brilliantly observed :D

You would be safer walking into a KluKlux Clan fancy dress party dressed as Al Johnson .... than to post as a Home Owner and BLT Landlord on HPC ......

Not a very good example, I should imagine the KKK would love to see someone ridiculing black stereotypes ;)

Same here - got a PM, no message, can't reply to them or initiate a conversation either.

If they were so sure of their standpoint they would allow reasoned debate on the subject - just by banning everyone who doesn't agree with them means that the world can see their argument is lost ....... speaks volumes.

It's just like the bears on here calling anyone they disagree with a sockie and for their banning. As stated, their insecurity speaks volumes.

HAS my post gone missing....long hands of hpc..i will repeat that they do read private messages over there as..sue me if you have the balls..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

  • The UK housing market is extremely fragile. Take away the Billions of Sterling the Bank of England is printing and injecting into the economy and the housing market would melt away and with it the British economy. With so much at stake it is no wonder when emotions are running high on the different boards.
