wow, i wish i could do it.. it would come out looking like a dogs dinner lol.. i cant even thread a sewing machine. Feel like i should be able to do stuff because i love the look of handmade things and wish i could sell. Its been a very hard month, first little girl and that.. she now has a collection of monsoon dresses, vintage handmade skirts and a handmade doll with her name in the making. The only good thing is i could use the ebay money i made towards it... i suppose i didnt go out and buy a a brand new pushchair or anything for her...so is normal to want to buy her clothes etc.. i did get the monsoon dresses for say £6.00 instead of £25.00 ... ive got her enough stuff to last the year lol and not spent over £200.00. She probably didnt need a handmade hanging fairy house with her name on.. lol but well its been hard. I will stop now because she has it all... hopefully can calm down now and just enjoy her and not the stuff! xxx

I have friends now totally flossing over the fact they havent come to visit and asking me to come to theres say the end of march. I just think its terrible.... makes me not want to visit them again or ever make the effort. :( i think being too nice gets you no where, its like people dont care about yr feelings

Awww cherry massive hugs, I'd come visit if I were your RL friend as you seem lovely. Has your mum still not had chance to visit? National depress and megamuff do cheapie tickets all the time.

Bet you can't wait o kick Simply Be to the curb, I've £24 left on freemans and thinking of dragging it out of my emergency fund just so it's gone.

I bet she's the best dressed baby around :) are there baby coffee mornings you can attend to meet new people and build friendships that aren't one sided? Must be tough having just had a newborn, I know my sister is feeling quite bored and alone as all her mates work, live away etc

Thanks kerri xx i think feb is such a downey kind of month.. im sure as soon as the spring comes things get brighter :)
Im not so upset now, just got to concentrate on my family, getting rid of the debt, sorting the house and going on nice holidays. Its not like mum will never see her.. will leave her come when she wants.. its not me thats missing out. I think your right, a few baby groups will do me the world of good..and i can meet up with new people.
So today my friend contacts me and says she has done a plan with cccs and she will be debt free in 2 years.. its really made me stop in my tracks with the spending and get my MSE head on again. I've been sick for 2 days so ive had 2 NSD's yippee... and ive also not watched anything on ebay or bidded. So hopefully (no IT HAS) stopped... soon as im feeling better i will start up my ebay mission again. I have £3000.00 now saved up for the electrics :j:j:j:T:T:T they really are a priority...one of the wires in the kitchen almost caught light :eek:my washing machine leaked.. so i really do have to get them done.
I'm going to transfer this into the electric savings account so im not tempted to spend it on baby clothes or ebay.. i think i need to save another £4000.00 towards it and then I will get them in.

Wow halfway towards electrics is awesome :)
I think baby groups will do you the world of good, maybe something like a bookclub? to give you something other than baby talk if you can find a local one?
It's amazing what gives us little kicks up the backside, I was thinking about how I really want a warr3n 3vans bed today when I saw one of their vans, thought "oooh £498 for bed & mattress I've got that in my bank account", then remembered speaking to you on here and how I was going to treat myself to the one I really want when I'm debt free, that was the kick I needed to not buy one when I got home :)

I agree re:family, I told OH that when we have kids if my family don't come to visit I'm not dragging a newborn 150miles to see them, afterall they'll be the ones that miss out not us :)

I know im so chuffed :-) its amazing ive kept hold of it after all the naughty monsoon baby dress bids eekss... but to be honest she needs nothing else now.. and i did have to buy her clothes lol as she didnt have anything. Thankfully to you i got them from ebay for £6.00 instead of £26.00 and i know i can re-sell them on for a good price. I had to get it out of my system a little. I wont take the tags off anything that she does not wear because you get more money for them.
You will have the most amazing bed soon.. all paid off in full :) think of the night sleep you will get.. no debt and a nice bed hehe.
Your right, i dont want to travel all that way.. im sure after a while mum will feel bad. If not i have a beautiful little girl and havent lost anything.
I think the budget book will make an apperance on friday lol.. finally!!! OH gets paid so i will need to budget for the month. Yippee.. i will feel back in control :)
Also playing skint is really working.. people are not expecting as much from us these days , especially OH's parents! we are skint really if you consider our debts.. they still need to be paid back afterall.. they will be my first priority after the house.

It's lovely to see you so positive again :)
Ooh I'm thinking of moving to Cardiff in December, so will buy the bed then for my lovely 2 bed flat I'll be renting for cheaper than the room I have at the moment in London :) although will have to find a flat first.
