I agree completely.
you have a responsibility to take care of yourself and your own family.
The other thing to consider is that, if they are using a system to cultivate plants, it is a massive fire risk to their house and your own.
Don't get me wrong, I do hate all drug use and will not condone it. I am tolerant of the solo, recreational drug user who uses on their own and doesn't effect anybody else but when they start imposing on other peoples rights then action needs to be taken.
I hope the problem is rectified for you and that you are able to breath in clean air soon.

but if they dont know they are causing a problem, then how can they act on it? All they may have needed was for you to tell them that you could smell it and that might have been enough for them to take action.

I suppose you do have to look after number one at the end of the day.
