9 days on from first letter from Debt recovery plus Ltd - their second letter has arrived. This one threatening to take county court proceedings. Also advising if the case reaches court the outstanding amount will increase as they would seek to recover the principle sum (£120) - interest at county court rate which is currently 8% per annum, £30 court fee to issue, £50 solicitors costs on claim and £22 solicitors costs on entry of judgement.
Also advising a CCJ may affect credit rating in the future.

Presume the advice is still to ignore.

    Yep, ignore.

The usual CCJ rubbish as well. A CCJ would only ever affect your credit rating if they firstly get one, which means taking you to court, which they won't, they win, which is even more unlikely and then you don't pay the court within 28 days!

    TBH we don't need updates.

Your 'updates' are probably already printed in the stickies that I mention, as they are std letters from the PPC scum.

Oopsadaisy, Carolyn17 is obviously looking for assurances as presumably this does not happen to her all the time...I don't see that much harm is being done by his/her posts.

In some respects your posts are assuring her :)

  • Hi I have had 2 parking tickets from CP Plus at Yorkhill Hosp in Glasgow. I have no choice but to park there if I cant park outside the hospital and as work 12.5 hrs exceeding 4 hrs max stay . Therfore 2 tickets !! Ignored the previous tickets now have received 2 letters from Debt recovery plus ltd , threatening debt recovery charges and late payment. They also asked if I was disputing I was the driver and asked for driver details and advised to contact a lawyer. I feel I need to ignore these too, however i dont want to pay more or charges and affect my credit rating. I'm so angry as patients and parents get this rubbish as well !! Any advise please ?:(
