    morning all

seriously wishing this headache would just !!!!!! right off  excuse my french :o it was joined yesterday by tummy pain that ended up with me in agony :( had a little soup yesterday and little jelly but hasnt made any differnence to painkillers working. really need some stronger ones :( sickness seems to have settked though,

hubby has gone to stay with his nan for a little while. we'tr not helping each other at the moment. snapping and biting at each other. ds has gone with him as his family havent seen him much recently so its a treat for him and them. only downside is they feed him rubbish. he'll come back wanting to eat nothing but crisps and sweets and probably gained a whole new toy room.

sorry for doing nothing but moan :( just feeling rather tearful and lonely today. not lonely in being by myself but in how i feel. yesterday was a better day and i guess i'm disappointed that today is bad again :( anyway sorry.

hugs/positive vibes to those who need them

Still up at 3am but at least I got sleep before that...still no "movement";) but he has gone in to school anyway.
Just been to buy 2 big day per page diaries for DH as he is going to go round getting plumbing/boiler jobs booked in from various estate agents/landlords etc as he is going to go fully self employed from middle of Dec:eek: It is a little scary but he has to do it at some stage. The bloke he currently does freelance for is a bit of a pain and is trying to get DH to sign boilers off under Gasafe in his DHs company name even though he is doing the work for him...and even boilers he hasnt done the work on as he is the only one there who is registered, the rest are basic plumbers. DH is having none of it, he also hasn`t had any pay increase for 5 years and other blokes less qualified get £20 a day more, which adds up over the month! He also asks him to do a job on Sun as extra then forgets to pay him:mad:
Might start to wrap some presents today, waiting for some tags I have ordered but no sign yet so might make a start on wrapping anyway.
Meatballs and Spag for tea later.
Have some ham and a pepper to use up so am going to make a flan and freeze it for another day.
Happy 21st for Danny:j glad you all had a lovely day Jackie, he sounds a really nice lad with his head screwed on!
Bargainbird don`t overboil the onion chutney....I did that a few years ago on my first attempt and ended up with onion toffee! It does thicken a fair bit when it cools in the jar.
  • My crochet hooks have arrived in the post :j:j

My 4-in-1 pest repellers have arrived too so hopefully see if they work lol... being on a farm we have all sorts of nasties

Ive been trying to find DD2 a wooden playhouse. She has one now but the door is too small so Im looking for a bigger one for her... any suggestions???

Life is getting back to normal in the Teapot house. MrTeapot is back at work today after being ill for four weeks with The Infection That Wouldn't Die. He was in and out of work during that time but has been off for the last week and a half. He's been in the job less than two months so it's quite a worry. Tomorrow is his last day on antibiotics and I'm really scared the infection will come back in a few days - that's what happened a couple of weeks ago when he finished his first course. Nothing to do but wait and see though.

Tomorrow carpets are being laid in our study and hall/stairs. This will be the end of my DIYing that's been going on since I went down to three days a week at work in August. I've done up all the bedrooms and the hall, mostly being MSE about it (fitted bedroom furniture in our room was the only extravagance). Really looking forward to it all being finished. :D Since we moved in last summer I'll have done up all the rooms except the lounge and dining room. Going to have a rest and do those in the spring. :)

Dinner tonight is roast chicken (the tips on here worked well when I cooked my first a couple of weeks ago, but it ended up being eaten cold with chips as MrTeapot was taken into hospital!).

Tomorrow I need to bake a cake for work on Wednesday. It's the 30th birthday of the girl who works for me today.

Lots of gardening to do too - have let it slip horribly the last few months while I've been DIYing. First job is to weed an area under a hawthorn tree and plant snowdrop and bluebell bulbs that have been waiting longer than they should to get in the ground. Fingers crossed they're alright.

    Morning all!

Hugs to all who need them, try and keep positive however difficult it seems.

Feeling quite cheery today. Visited a friend yesterday for tea (and lots of giggles). She's been a bit down recently and I don't see her as often I used to, now we don't work together. We had a good catch up and watched some trash on tv. She cooked too, the first time she's ever cooked for us, so we had no cooking or washing up to do, well worth the £3 it cost for the box of biccies we took.

Today, the sun is shining here, work is quiet and I've alrady done the ironing, so one less thing to do tonight.

    Take care all xxx

If you click on Private Messages at the top right hand side, then go into your profile, there is a slot to enter your own web page, think it might be that Lou.
