Good morning
I have cleared a hot spot in my hallway (pile of unopened mail), swept & mopped the kitchen floor (I know you said NOT the kitchen, but it needed doing
) & prepared the paperwork needed for this afternoons visit.
I am getting the play dough out now - I may regret it!!0 -
Well, got to half an hour and carried on. LR restored to hygenic levels. I managed to:
Tidy, and sweep LR floor,
Fix letter box
Clear and wipe sofa
Get DS1 dressed
Sweep porch
Remember something else to add to my list which I've now forgotten again...
How did you get on PP?
Also, quick question - what do OS Flyladies use to clean laminate flooring? The current (and not very moneysaving) floor cleaner I use leaves a chalky residue.
Kitchen S&S now, before lunch.
HxSo, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy
WW 37lb (2 STONE 9lbs! :j ) lost since July, 11tybillion to go...0 -
In my HHC, I cleared a hotrspot and started on the kitchen. I got a bit derailed by a text (and follow up e-mail) from work, which has to be dealt with quickly
Going to carry on now:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Afternoon all
I cleaned all downstairs yesterday because DD2 was bringing her new boyfriend round to meet us (I don't suppose he noticed I'd cleaned) so today I've just done dailies. Also been to the dentist for a check up and clean so it's good to have that out of the way.
I've done all my Christmas shopping and wrapped it, apart from one item I'm waiting to be delivered.
I've got the cards but I prefer to wait a bit longer to write them otherwise it doesn't feel Christmassy to me. I've got some time off early next month and I'll do them then. I keep the list in with the cards so I can just use that each year.
I've been buying extra bits of food with each shopping delivery so that's going OK.
Don't know if that's earned me anything
Oh, and washing is sulking on the line, it's really cold and miserable out there.0 -
DW done and emptied. WM unloaded and reloaded. Hallway dejunked, swept and cleaned. I'll give it a mop this evening once everyones finished coming in and out.
I've done a quick tidy round the living room, putting the DDs stuff in piles for them to put away tonight.
I've sorted out a couple of cards for the boyfriendish's mum, the girls can choose which one later.
DC5 is doing my head in, all the other cats are out so she's lonely and wants me to make a fuss of her but I have stuff I want to do lol It's a poor excuse but I'm being forced to sit on the sofa by a 10 month old kitten!0 -
Have not caught up with the thread. Just to say I am in.
Feeling a bit sad this morning as its a year since I lost Mum. Going to DDs later.
Big hugs Boddy, I can't say anything that will make it easier but want you to know that I loved reading posts about your Mum, good and bad, the way you cared xLady-Liberty wrote: »Morning all

I have got nowhere yet, well done a smidgen of tidying, I have given a couple of rather evil frogs a very good chew so they should now surrender in time :rotfl:

Hello all.
First of all (((HUGS))) to boddy and Lady-L
Second, thanks for the support re the wretched CAMRA stuff - I've only just caught up with reading the weekend posts!:o
There's a FROG this week - Get rid of the CAMRA job!:D
After the nonsense Friday, we emailed the Chairman and Pubs Officer and said that I definitely wish to hand the task to another [STRIKE]mug[/STRIKE] volunteer at the January AGM, as it's causing me such distress. We got an email in reply from the Pubs Officer's cohort, meeping on about it shouldn't be that difficult to cut'n'paste a few lines (yeah.... 173 of them!) totally forgetting that I have to weed out duplicates, of which there were some, correct typos, (apparently Wheatsheaf is spelled Whetsheaf if there's a "T" in the day) AND do the analysis sheet.
On receiving this, Mr LW got cross, and emailed back that he'd appreciate it if said cohort would take over the job NOW, as I'm having to do all this stuff on the netbook, lying on the sofa, as I'm not well enough to sit up at the PC, and it's causing me more stress, which is making my health worse.
We await developments......
I don't have any physical hotspots (I don't allow them to form);), but am having to uninstall OpenOffice and reinstall, so for now, I'll have to use this post to track my progress so far. Oh, and many thanks, JJ for the lists.:oOk here goes this week!
Monday - All downstairs apart from kitchen, LR & DR
This doesn't mean that you've got to do the bedrooms and bathroom if you live in a bungalow LW PMSL

Wipe and water plants N/A - I don't have any
Hoover under furniture you can move easily Been done by Mr LW
Declutter Mission:
Sort those books out - which can you get rid of? - Hex please don't have palpitations - are there any new books out from the same authors that you could put on your Christmas list or buy other people?
*Checks books* Nope, they're all ones we want to keep (major cull done a while back)List of Challenges for this week
Let's think about Christmas!:xmastree:
Write your list for Santa!
Have you sorted your present list?
Wrap or buy 3 presents depending on how organised you are.
Write your Christmas card list.
Are you joining in with the Christmas card swap on Facebook?
Do you need wrapping paper/bows/gift tags etc?
What Christmas cards do you need to buy/make?
Have you got enough stamps?
For anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas you need to do an extra decluttering session or HHI each day to get a snowman!
I don't do Xmas, Mr LW does the ironing every Sunday:A (I can't lift the ironing board) and we have our decluttering all under control, so there's not anything to make an extra session each day - can I have a snowman if I persevere and do my HHYoga each day?:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
