Hi Ian - good to see you posting. Will think of you all.

Kazw - not great at little girls but stickers, ribbons and a pretty notepad to go with the crayons spring to mind.

WM is done but not much else. Need to sort stuff for the morning and get that DW emptied and filled. CBA, tired and sore. The cold is crippling my joints atm which is frustrating.

Kaz - I have hospital appointments coming up next week so can't afford to take anymore time off. I need to get things sorted out so I can relax when I come out.

Casserole in SC, rest of meat in freezer. Supper in the oven as the MW is making a strange noise :( I suspect I may need to get a new one.

Need to find painkillers as my head is definitely hurting, then have an early night as my dad will be here at 8am tomorrow expecting breakfast. I have sorted pictures for him to take which I need to wrap, but not books (no time). I'll also give him the spare kingsize duvet as I won't need it before christmas and may not need it at all depending on what I do with the spare room...

Hi All, it's Ian, Money Saving Divas OH

Not sure if this is the right purple but it's the one I am using today!

Just wanted to drop by and thank Lady Liberty for the post and the rejuvenation of the candle page by those of you who have been on and lit a candle for MSD. Your love and support was really appreciated back at the end of Jan when MSD died and is still appreciated now.

I do go back and read the thread that was started and it helps to remind me the happy times she spent on the Forum.

As LL mentioned, we will be scattering Sonjas ashes on Friday and it is great to know those of you that remember MSD will be thinking of her.

    Best wishes

    Ian

My thoughts are with you, best wishes Kazxxxx

Hex~~love the ribbons idea and the note book...

Greenbee~~ I'll come and get you and take you to Norfolk and leave you there, if you don't slow down.

  • kazw - how about a small set of play jewellery - can get bracelet + ring + necklace in childrens clothes section of Tescos/Asda etc, pretty little bag, Disney princess or pink bits (pencils, pad, etc).

Not long home, and have meeting here, but for once am reasonably tidy so just sitting with a drink awaiting peeps to arrive. The de-cluttering must be working...

I've got a question on the books. Do you all get rid of your books when you have read them?
I have piles of books waiting to be read - if I hung onto ones I had finished I would be drowning in them. :o I either pass them on to friends or via Bookcrossing, or I list them for sale on Amazon & Green Metropolis. There are some I won't part with, particularly my Pratchetts & my signed first edition of Wild Swans, which I love. I've put myself on a book-buying ban for the forseeable as well, :( from both a money-saving & a space saving point of view, I work in a library - I shouldn't NEED to buy any! :rotfl:

LW - if it is THAT easy, it won't be a problem for him to take it over, will it?! :rotfl:

Work is picking up :j I am taking on a new little girl (15 months) one day a week, and I have just taken a phone call re 2 little girls, 2 afternoons a week. They are all term time aswell, so the house is not bursting at the seams in the holidays :p

Not much flying done since this morning, as i have been working. i managed to contain the play dough though :D

Ok. I have another piece of work to submit tonight, so I had better crack on.

I've listed the stuff i took pics of earlier on Ebay. I've also got a bag in the hall ready to go to the CS next time i'm in town, i must remember i've got a couple of things upstairs i need to add to the bag. I've got a pile of books in the hall too ready to go to my Sister when we go for lunch this week.

I must be coming down with something because now i'm going to do a HHI . Then if i'm still feeling energetic i might make some more jewellery. I'm surprised i'm still awake as i had a terrible nights sleep last night in between Ds1 waking me up everytime he went to the loo, Ds2 in my bed taking all the covers and sleeping upside down leaving me freezing and my back hurting. Oh well i shall sleep well tonight.
