According to today's list I have a music room, utility room, downstairs toilet and hallway to clean...maybe I wish I hadn't moved house!!! I CBA but as my parents are coming at the weekend and I have a quiet week at work I am going to try and do the lists on the relevant day. One of our new neighbours appears to be having some sort of toddler afternoon and everyone seems to have parked outside our house, flying will get me away from the LR window and I might not get so annoyed then.
I've got a question on the books. Do you all get rid of your books when you have read them? My mum always keeps her books so I always have too. We haven't unpacked that box yet as we need storage for them first but just wondering if we need them out. DHs mum and dad always kept their books too so it may just be a tradition that we are following.

Stand firm LW, on the CAMRA stuff. It's not fair that they are making you feel bad about passing something which you do out of your own good nature when it's becoming too much for you.
Well, kitchen S&S'd, WM on, everyone fed. DS2 is going for a sleep, I have the landlord coming round for a gas safety check in half an hour so time to fold some laundry. So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy

Hi Lady Liberty Thinking of diva and thanks to Dusty for the candles link.
Hi ladies, I got a bit waylayed just before my HHC. I had a phone call from DS2's school (coughing fit had turned him blue) and hot footed it down there to get him to the doctors quicker. 3 hours later we are back from hospital having had X-Rays for pneumonia confirmation.
The doctor severely told me off for letting him play football or for sending him to school:o
He has demolished a huge KFC meal and is rather peeved at missing school. He was much worse last week when he went to school following a letter about high levels of absence that scared the pneumonia germs into him.
Bang goes my plans for this week . I best start to tackle the list

There's another organisation I do voluntary paperwork for, too, and I'm looking to a) reduce this by getting rid of the 2nd region I took on when their regional co-ordinator resigned and b) step down completely, as I've been doing this for about nine years now, and again, it's high time someone else took a turn.
As always though, volunteers are thin on the ground.:( At least this other lot don't treat me like the dirt on the floor, and do seem to realise that I can only do so much.:o
Seafarers I forgot to say, I hope your poor toes are feeling better today.
Aj re books: we tend to only buy books we'll re-read anyway, or else reference books; I don't think JJ wants us to dispose of precious tomes.:D
As OpenOffice has reinstalled, and is now working as expected, I'm off for a HH-on-my-hands-and-knees-doing-what-few-skirting-boards-I-can-get-to.:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I have now successfully hoovered and mopped downstairs which also saved putting the heating on as this always warms me up.
Lamewolf - hold firm - remember it is there problem if they cannot find anybody to do it, not your problem.
