Evening!
Well I've managed to get to the end of my first challenge with an underspend which I'm very pleased about.
:T
I took out £10 cash today and bought lunch at Asda, but still pleased with my lack of 'frittering' this week.
Next week I will increase my limit as have a xmas meal to go to through work with OH, so will be nearer the £70 mark probably.
Still, a good start for me :rotfl:AFD 0/310 -
Managed 5!!! NSDs this week! Very happy as have more money in my purse than when the week started!
So now to plan next week and see how little I can spend- This is quite addictive!
Will be having a think and posting tomorrow or Sunday as to what i will need!

I didn't spend any more so declaring my shameful red:
Sun 13 Nov: NSD for challenge (not true NSD as petrol from petrol budget)
Mon 14 Nov: NSD for challenge (not true NSD as milk from shopping budget, also spent clubcard vouchers and advantage card points)
Tue 15 Nov: TRUE NSD
Wed 16 Nov: Focus magazine - £3.95 (it was still Nov and I didn't want to miss it!!!) and drinks/cigs £26.20

Declaring £83.90
Mon -NSD
Tue - Food at work £1.90, diesel £20
Wed - NSD
Thu - window cleaner £6, petrol £20
Fri - Aldi - alcohol - £6, groceries £7. Takeaway curry £23:o
Could have been so much worse, considering it was amended to such an unrealistic figure. I'm reasonably happy with this, it's still less than I would have spent before. For example last night, I went into Aldi to buy the bare essentials, bread, milk cheese and beer;), and because I am doing this challenge I bought bread milk cheese and beer and I spent an extra 69p on peppers and 33p on lemonade. I would have spent a LOT more before on stuff that it turns out I didn't need because I don't want it today. All progress, all progress
My only worry is, do you log the overall results and is my overspending dragging you all down?:o I would like to persevere at the lower budget for a bit longer. If you all don't mind then I will go for £61 for next week which is the £105 minus the overspend this week
Thanks to everyone on the thread who posts and keeps me motivated:A
