    Hi everyone

    Happy Thursday!

I'm on leave again so naturally happy :D

However, I was very, VERY naughty yesterday. I went to the pub with my friend after work and also bought 10 cigs. :o On the upside, whilst it was very spendy and I've blown my budget, I am happily reassured that I can in fact take or leave the cigs. e.g. I have no desire to smoke today and don't plan to. My biggest falling down is absolutely always going to be when I have a glass of wine in my hand and am with people who do smoke. My thinking is that if those odd occasions are the only time I get tempted or do actually smoke, then surely that's still a massive improvement from smoking every single day regularly?

Anyway, had a fair bit to drink and spent an absolute fortune so now the rest of the month is going to be very, VERY tight. (not as tight as if I was buying cigs though, haha)

    Quick update:

Sun 13 Nov: NSD for challenge (not true NSD as petrol from petrol budget)
Mon 14 Nov: NSD for challenge (not true NSD as milk from shopping budget, also spent clubcard vouchers and advantage card points)
    Tue 15 Nov: TRUE NSD
Wed 16 Nov: Focus magazine - £3.95 (it was still Nov and I didn't want to miss it!!!) and drinks/cigs £26.20
Planned - Thu 17 Nov: NSD (AL so at home except for flu jab in evening)
    Planned - Fri 18 Nov: Starbucks £3

    Total so far: £30.15/£25

Today will be no spend as am at home - will do walk with mum when she gets home at half four, then I've got to go for my flu jab at 1813 (my Dr gets all military when it comes to flu jabs, hehe, most efficient they ever are!) and then when I get back we're watching a film - usually we do this on a Weds (it's our girls night and we have a bottle of wine and take it in turns to provide) but we swapped the nights this week.

    Hi all,

Well a bit naughty today and bought a sandwich at work for £2.10. Had good intentions of bringing some soup from home for lunch, but didn't fancy it in the end.

Still, have done much better this week than I had anticipated for my first challenge. :)

Next week will be different as have a xmas meal planned, so I will have to budget carefully to allow for that.

    Hi all,

Was on course to be under budget this week, off on a nightout tomorrow where the transport was supposed to be provided but just found out last night we have to pay ourselves :( Transport alone is going to be about £20, still hoping to not spend much more than that but I know after a few drinks this will be hard!

Anyways, i'll let you know my total on Sunday night

I'm not planning on spending any more today. I have Dr appt at 1710 so leaving work at 1630. Then after that I'll go and see my friend for a while, then on the way home I'll stop and do my food shop for the week and get petrol - obviously they come from their own budgets.

Hope you're all having a good day :)
