Is it ok to freeze corn beef and can I just defrost and eat it?

I assume you're talking about the tinned / ready sliced stuff, rather than homemade? If so, I've tried freezing it before and found that it went a bit mushy when defrosted - OK for corned beef hash, but not much good for sandwiches.

    HTH. :)

:rotfl: I meant it! You cut out all those cut fingers and thumbs opening the tins, you get to keep it for longer, it's easier to deal with. Honestly, you could make your fortune with spreadable corned beef ...

    Hi
I have made too much shortcrust pastry, will this be ok in the fridge until tomorrow? Or should I freeze it?

It will be okay in the fridge for that short time. If you leave pastry in the fridge for too long - it will go grey - still edible but not so good looking.
