This morning my DS got a side plate out of the cupboard, and lying on it was a worm/maggot - not sure what. I thought at first it was a grain of cooked long grain rice as that's the size it was, but it had a brown bit at one end (presumably the head). Has anybody got any idea what it could have been? I cleaned out all the cupboards afterwards just in case, but there were no others in there.0

Thanks tigerfeet thats just the sort of thing I'm looking for. Now all I have to do is decide which one to choose. :think:MFW 142- Oct 1999 £55,0000, Jul 2013 £27,593.17 Oct 2013 £26,531, Dec 2014 £22,600, Dec 2015 £20,190, Jan 2016 £19,944.19 Mar 2017 £16,944.76 Decluttered 207/2018

I have the low-tech, Lakeland version and find it works well for thick-sliced bread but is a bit fiddly for medium or thin slices.Household: Laura + William-cat

You can, but you'll need to cook it first - I usually just wash it, put it in a metal sieve then pour boiling water from the kettle over it until it collapses down. Then pour some cold water (from the tap) over it, squeeze out some of the water, then freeze in a bag or tub. When you want to use it, defrost in a sieve so the excess water drains away (it defrosts surprisingly quickly, I always find) then you're ready to go.

Can anyone tell me how to get my towels baby soft again? They could rip my skin at the moment! I don't use conditioner or have a tumble dryer.
Thanks, C xx0 -
Try putting some vinegar in the conditioner section on the drawer.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
