    I just realised it's been a whole year since OH and I got engaged! Time sure does fly!


    home for lunch, half a tin of soup and a slice of tea loaf. Hopefully that will keep me going.

    Just been to the opticians and as suspected, have started to go longsighted too now, so had to order varifocals:eek::eek:
    Also got Boo a few Xmas bits, inc a Santa key and a snowglobe, and OH a Grumpy tin where he has to deposit various bits of cash for his degrees of grumpiness:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    OS wise washing, floors and pasta bake for tea:p:p

    Hi all!

    Been away for afew days with DH, really enjoyed getting away from it all and not having to worry about cooking, cleaning etc. Been a couple of busy days at work too, this the first time I've really had to pop on here.

    Hugs to everyone who wants or needs them. Am now going to hunt out the last few days threads and catch up on everything that's been going on in your lives,

    Yep know exactly what you mean! ;) Same here really. Good news lately though as DH was offered a new job. He's being made redundant in January and we've known it was going to happen since before last Christmas, so it's good we haven't got that worry hanging over our heads any more! :)

    Hello all,
    seems like big hugs are needed all round, so love to you all and hope those that are struggling in whatever way are feeling better soon.
    Feeling pleased with myself as have just been super-organised (for me!) and done next week's meal plan. I usually start on sunday so am very ahead of myself for once. Most of it is planned around a chicken - am ashamed to admit I've never actually roasted a chicken before so fingers crossed it goes ok or we'll be pretty hungry for the week!

    Need to nip to @ldi after work as they have some game pate on their offers from today. If it's got a long enough date on it I'll get some for my dad for christmas.

    Am hoping this motivation lasts long enough to get home and do some housework. Then it's curry and the Jury for us.
