Thinking of FW and wondering how she is getting on.
JulieG: Gently does it girl. You are wonderful , thinking about everyone's meals. If ever there was an excuse for sending for a take-away, you've got it!
Lou: Stay under that duvet lovey, but for goodness sake try to take a bite of that banana. Don't think about it, just do it. Think of Taplady's threat. Crickey, how cruel is that?
HM soup and bread for lunch. Vicaress out tonight so water and fresh air for me. I weighed myself this morning and haven't lost an ounce! The sugar will have to go.:(
Now I'm off to be Mrs Busy Housewife.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Morning All
FW Wishing you all the best for today.
Lou Liquid is more important than food. Can you get a sports bottle of water or squash, and just carry it around with you, and take tiny sips whenever you can? If you can drink easier than eat, it may be worth getting some slimfast type shakes, as at least they give you some nutrition without you having to sit down and eat.
I'm smothered with a cold atm. I had a bit of a sore throat yesterday morning, by teatime I was a total snot factory, banging head, earache, sinuses feel like I've been hit in the face with a 2by4. No better today, so I'm doing nothing. Hubby is making enchiladas for tea, the kids can do the WM and DW when they get home. I'll be laid on the settee with my laptop. All the coughing and sneezing makes my back hurt more than ever, so the rest of the housework can just wait.+++ Divide By Cucumber Error. Please Reinstall Universe And Reboot +++

Hugs to all who need them - especially FW and Lou
Been sitting around the last three days becoming an expert on Spider Solitaire, but precious little else...
Woke up feeling a bit more ready for things today, so have washed tha living-room hardwood floor, swept the kitchen, cleaned the sinks, dealt with the bathroom and cloakroom and am about to go shopping.
DS back at his place, and has been in hospital for 48 hours with sky-hich sugar levels, but home again now. Still no heat or working cooker, but should both be fixed next week.
Saw lady whose car I knocked and gave her cheque to cover garage estimate - just hope they don't find anything else wrong when they fix it next week. I see today she's paid the cheque in, thank goodness, so I won't think I have lots more than I do! I so need to sort out our finances properly.
DH and I went Christmas shopping yesterday as my sister and brother are both visiting next week, so having the various family presents ready will save us trips to Wales and Dorset next month. Just very immediate family left now.
Oh well, need to get a shift on - I am becoming such a lazy so-and-so!
Take care everyone.Resolution:

Thanks for all the support. Still bad, but went to GP this morning with DH so we have a plan in place for when he's away next week and the week after. Rather than referring me to MHT they are going with the addictions as they 'maybe' have a call line. Big problem is quick downers. Can't phone DH as he's in surgery so need someone at the end of phone/ to see. Grrr.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500

Lou please, I beg you, get some sort of nutrition inside you. *thinking* I agree, the headache is as likely as not that you're dehydrated, so I wonder if a sports bottle of glucose drink that you could sip from would help?
Cat and Uolypool I haven't forgotten you guys - sending you both posi-vibes, too.
Hoping FW gets to kick a$$ today.;)
Happy anniversary to the Donnys, too - I'm all in favour of the poppy wreath, btw.:o
OS-wise, the BM is on, and I need to give the bedroom a good dust - which involves the moving of a couple of a dozen dragons. It'll take an age, as I still can't use my left arm properly, but hey ho!
Also got a whole bunch of beer scores to put on the spreadsheet via email last night - some going back to August! So Mr LW sent a reply saying we want them in a more timely fashion, as 5 emails all at once, with an average of 20 scores on each, which all have to be typed in by hand as they're not in a format I can cut'n'paste, it just a tad overwhelming. I've said if it happens again, the Pubs Officer can do his own flamin' spreadsheet in future. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Popped back to growl a bit........
OH has just phoned to say his wages haven't gone into the bank, boss told them there wasn't enough money in bank to do funds transfer so he will bring them all a cheque!
If no funds for transfer, why would OH think a cheque won't bounce???
Have croaked loudly down the phone telling him to phone him back saying thanks anyway but will be in to collect cash, thank you very please!:mad::mad::mad:
And breathe the Vick-fragranced air deeply, Jools!!!RIP Iain
