    Morning everyone

Fw - Good luck for today, hope it turns out ok x

Foggy, dark and damp here this morning. DH up and off to work early but not stupid early o'clock so he brought me a nice cuppa in bed before he left.

DS1 says his exam was awful and he didn't know all the answers, just tried to re-assure him that if he's not passed there are other options and not to worry as he now can't change the outcome. He has college today and loves it so today will be a better day for him. DS2 made his buns at school and managed to burn his arm getting them out of the oven, but he was taken to medical centre and treated straight away and it's not a bad burn luckily. Buns were edible!

Dinner last night was stew and dumplings, mash and veg - very yummy and appropriate for the weather. Tonight I'll be eating with the boys early then going to mums and meeting DH there, then coming back and just cooking for him, it'll be something easy and quick. Think I will dig about in the freezer for freezer surprise for all of us - at least that will make more space for xmas food.

Have the usual list of chores to do today - but am thinking I will have to use the TD today as clothes are taking so long to dry on airers and radiators! Managed to organise another couple of xmas prezzies last night - they should arrive tomorrow, was a good buy as my catalogue company phoned me yesterday to say I had lots of reward points and if I didn't use them (you can only use them against purchases) before the 31 December I would loose them - so checked and found a couple of items that would make good xmas gifts used my points, no delivery charge and they're being delivered tomorrow - still have some points left so no actual cost - result! MrT clubcard points have arrived will be seeing what I can get with those and if I can double them to make the most of that too.

Must crack on otherwise I'll be on here all day.

Have a great day everyone, hugs to those that need/want them, take care.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    morning all!

    2 days off now!:)

Had a terrible nights sleep - just couldn't switch off. Didn't get home from work til 10.30 then it takes ages to wind down. DH wakes me up every morniong when he gets up for work then at 7.30am Mum rang and woke me up  she wanted to know why I was still in bed:cool:

Am off with my sister to collect her new car this morning and pick DS up from his GFs. We'll squeeze in coffee and a chat too.

OS - shall have a quick tidy up. Mushroom soup for lunch again and probably a jacket spud for tea as I'm going out to SW and it will be a rush.

Loads of washing/ironing to do too.

    FW - good luck x

DonnyGal - happy anniversary to you both

(((hugs))) to lou, cat, uolypool and family and everyone else in need of one x x x

just having toast and a cuppa before I get cracking.

Uolypool lots of positive healing vibes
nmlc We are all a bit stressed out with exams too

Went to 6th Form eve at DS3 school last night. He is hoping to do Maths Physics Biology at A Level:eek: he is predicted A grades in his GCSE but struggles with English and will be lucky to scrape a C. If he doesn't get the C he can't go to 6th Form. There will be an opportunity to resit but really hoping he passes this time then he can relax a bit before starting AS levels. As we said to him last night all he can do is do his best things will work out ok.

Having a quiet morning at home and then DH home at lunch. We are going for his blood test results, fingers crossed everything is ok.
Also need to pop and do some shopping.
At least he has some work today.
Tea will be whatever is on special offer.
Might have a sneaky catch up with TOWIE while I eat breakfast, nobody else will watch it:o its my shameful secret lol.

OS wise have found a place about 20 mins away that sells much cheaper coal and better quality so will go and stock up next week.

    Have a good day Julie

    Morning all,
Looks like it's going to be dry here today so DH and I will make a start on stripping the roof, we'll cover it with tarpauling to weather proof it, the new roof is being delivered tomorrow am. The one we have atm is asbestos so we'll have to wear overalls, gloves and masks. We have to wrap the asbestos sheets and seal them before taking them to the recycle. The new roof is metal sheets that look like tiles, we can't put ordinary tiles on the extension because of the degree of the slope, so ..... lots to do. We will employ DNephew to help DH put the new roof on because of the weight.
I've made loads of meals and frozen so dinners for the next week have been sorted. Upto date with the ironing & h/work. :)

MEANMARIE, Yes I'm mostly cooking for others but I do manage to eat a little, about a T plate size meal at night. I know I should rest a bit more but I need to keep busy atm. Stops me worrying. ;)

NPM, DD really appreciates all I do for her, I know I take on too much at times but I need to be needed IYSWIM, thanks Hun for being concerned, bless yah. :D

FWIFE, Go girl and wipe the floor with him.

LOU, CAT AND UOLYPOOL, I'm sending special possitive vibes and warm hugs to you all. x

    morning all,
you all get up so early! i went to the bus stop in my pjs this morning. at 7.20 well to make it clear. i dont get out and i stop well away from the bus stop so i would never see any one but im not sure the lad that was walking past my house when i got out of the car thought that pink pjs big fluffy dressing gown and fluffy boots was a good look!! lol, that made my morning.
tuna past bake for tea got the eldest coming as well. another day of a double shift 10 til 2 and 5 til 10. wouldnt mind but im so tired at the moment. doc has put me on epilectic tablets to help with daily headaches. i have had these headaches for over 20 years and tried eveything. im not epiletic by the way but he said these should help. yea ive heard that before.

Stop apologising Lou there is no need. If this is a safe place for you to offload then do it, without saying sorry.

Can you chop the banana into smaller pieces and just keep one out that way you have the overwhelming image of a whole piece of fruit before you. Just one tiny bite or even half, baby steps. Do you have a glass of water or fluid to drink (not alcohol ;))? Sad thing is pounding headache is likely to be you being dehydrated so it's a viscious circle.

    Morning everyone
Carp nights sleep, DD woke and I had to get into bed with her. Have a headache and eyes feel sore as I rubbed my eyes after fussing killer cat and my allergy to her fur made them itch.
Not much OS today, off to a friends for coffee and chat this morning and the. Having my hair cut at home after lunch. By the time that's done it will be school run time :o

farmers wife sending you kick !!! vibes, here's hoping it is the last time you see that t w u n t xxxx
